Emergency Services Fun Day

Head to the Emergency Services Day at Queen’s Park in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. The fun-filled family day will be held on Sunday, 16 July from 11am until 4pm. There will be lots of fun for all the family to enjoy. Watch demonstrations in the main arena from the fire and rescue service, police, and trauma teams to see the type of work they do. Meet members of the Army, RAF and road safety teams. There will also be live music, lots of stalls and fun activities for everyone to get involved in for a day to remember as well as a fun fair. Kash, the police dog mascot, will be there to meet visitors while he’s patrolling the park and will ‘yappily’ pose for photos if you want to catch the moment. There will be a free shuttle bus service from Britannia Stadium for visitors to avoid parking problems. The organisers are advisiong visitors to park the car, get on a bus and have a hassle-free fun day out in the splendour of Queen’s Park. A range of hot and cold food will be available to buy throughout the event. The day is in support of and raising funds for the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice Trust.
