Using Your Phone When You’re Out And About **

Your phone is a wonder item. It can connect you with loved ones from any distance, you can hold job interviews over the phone and get an accurate picture of a person just from their voice, and you can perform all kinds of tasks at once with just your thumbs whilst you’re waiting at the bus stop. Continuing in that vein, phones can fail us massively; whether it’s the battery, an app crashing, or not getting a connection. If your phone just doesn’t seem to cut it from time to time, it’s time to amp the OS up to the max!

So whilst you’re out and about this summer, swanning about all the different events you’ve bought (or ones that you won) tickets for, make sure you’re kept entertained and productive during all the waiting and walking you’re going to have to do. And that means programming your phone to the max! With that in mind, here’s a couple of ways you can use your phone to the max.

Always Have Battery Saver On

And if you don’t, make sure you have something portable along with you to always charge your phone when it runs out of juice! You can buy any battery packs or battery bricks at most shops, so you’re never going to be away from the possibility, even when you’re out and about. Convenience is key for business after all.

But on the other hand, if you know you’re going to be using your phone all day, and you’re near a charging point and are going to be more than busy with the day’s proceedings, just pop battery saver on in your settings and keep a little of the troubling weight off about whether or not you’ll be able to call a taxi by the end of the night.

Have Something to Pass the Time

If you don’t, you’re going to be finding yourself stuck in lines or wandering around aimlessly with nothing to think about except how hot the sun is and how much you’d love to go for a coffee right now. And if you’re trying to focus on a festival, or a convention you’re attending, this isn’t going to make for a fast wait or a good experience overall!

People often like to keep gaming apps off of their phone to better save battery and have more storage space for photos and some music, but this deserves an exception. So use games like the Final Fantasy mobile app, or something like Sudoku or Solitaire, just to keep yourself going in the mighty amount of minutes we spend just sitting or standing around with nothing else to do.

Using your phone to the max involves preparing for drained battery, having something to pass the time, and to always know you can rely on your phone to get you through the day. It’s not just about texting your friends and family anymore, so try these tips!
