About Us
Hello, My name is Asha Carlos and I am the Lead Blogger and Owner at Yeah Lifestyle. I am a Lifestyle, Wedding and Portrait Photographer as well as a Freelance Writer based in the picturesque town of Biddulph in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire in United Kingdom just 10 minutes from the Cheshire border.
I am also a mum to two lovely beautiful kids aged 16 and 13-year-old who love posing for my photos. My husband and my children also follow me when I do reviews as their feedback and opinion is important for me to document especially when I review family-related events, holiday destinations and family-friendly restaurants. Otherwise, I usually head with a plus one to launches/blogger events/restaurant reviews and other press events.
Sometimes due to overwhelming response, I do work with other bloggers. This will be indicated on the post. I am always looking to hire bloggers so if you are close by, drop me an email and I would love to chat with you.
I am really lucky and blessed that I am able to do what I love most as my job….capturing beautiful moments in time, documenting it and sharing it with everyone. I have received so many great news from friends and just readers that they enjoy reading the posts and have visited the place we featured especially if its local to us. This brings me great joy as that was the point of the blog in the first place, to create awareness and support local business and theatres. At the same time, the blog also does paid sponsored posts/collaborative posts/ads/reviews/features/social media promotions with Brands, PR agencies as well as small businesses, so drop us a note to speak more about this.
I have over 20 years of experience doing photography, writing and blogging and have had lots of my writings published in both local and international newspapers and magazines.

Hi, my name is Libby Dallimore, I’m a marketing and communications professional working in the education sector and mum of two.
When I’m not at work and I’m done chasing my daily step count target, I’m most likely crocheting, usually with Real Housewives playing in the background or a good playlist keeping me company. On the weekend, I love exploring the great Staffordshire countryside (and beyond) with my two favourite adventurers, my 9-year-old daughter Margot and 13-year-old son, Seb.
For the past eight years, the three of us have been sharing real-life reviews on everything from books and toys to household goods, days out and theatre trips. What started as a creative outlet has turned into a space where I love celebrating everyday family life and giving genuinely useful recommendations.
When I do manage some “me time”, I love going to gigs and festivals, putting the world to rights with friends in the pub, or fully embracing self-care with a spa visit.

Hello, I am Brigitte, a new blogger at Yeah Lifestyle. I no longer work… hooray!
I came over to England back in the late 1970s but return to France on a regular basis. I also visit my family in Austria and Reunion Island often.
I was a Procurement Consultant for a number of years, working all over the UK, Europe and the USA. My role was to reduce the expenditure of my client’s companies.
Since the birth of my grandchildren, I love spending a lot of time with them.
My hobbies include entertaining friends by cooking cordon bleu meals and pairing them with appropriate wines; also, baking, computing, researching my family tree (which can be a challenge when your four grandparents all come from different countries), cross-stitch, knitting and travelling (as often as possible).
I am a gadget-nut, be it cooking, electronic, computing or crafting gadgets.

Hello, I am Metia, a musician, freelance editor and fashion pattern cutter. I live with my family in the Staffordshire Moorlands, where I work part-time from home, usually subtitling media.
My hobbies include playing electric guitar in a band, drawing, writing, making clothes and reading. I was educated at home with my four siblings in a draughty old house with no television, lots of books and the great outdoors as a playground. There I read everything, from Enid Blyton to Aldous Huxley. Later on I taught music to children in schools.
Most of the work I review for a living tends to be corporate documents, so it’s great to get the opportunity of sharing my thoughts on books and theatre events here on the blog!

I’m Becky and I work as a midwife in the midlands, I’ve recently started a company with a fellow Midwife and we will be running antenatal and post-natal education for families in Staffordshire.
I live with my partner Ben who runs a digital engagement company in Staffordshire (Wavemaker Digital), promoting and working with all areas of the community to help digital engagement. He is a board director at the justso festivals and we are regular family festival goers.
We live with our baby Kitt (2) , my son Oscar (9) and Bens daughters Eve (12) and Ivy (10), our house is always busy and with 4 lively children, we’re always on adventures . We have family in the Lake District and spend lots of time in the outdoors and countryside. In my spare (haha!) time, I bake celebration cakes and cupcakes, the midwives and doctors keep me in business. I play netball and when I’m not injured I love to take part in runs and park runs.
Kitt was born with a very rare 1 in 3500 condition and has a hidden disability, this can sometimes prove a challenge but he is a toddler who wins everyone over with his cheeky smile and love of life. I’m excited to be apart of the Yeah Lifestyle team and help promote activities for local families. You can follow our adventures and journey at @kitthappens22 @glittergal84

Hello, my name is Danielle and I’m a blogger at Yeah Lifestyle.
I’m a freelance PR consultant and part-time lecturer in PR and digital content creation. I’m a former journalist and worked as a features writer at The Sentinel in Stoke-on-Trent for several years.
I met my husband David when we were both studying English Literature at university – we bonded over books! We love going to the theatre, eating out, and folk music.
We have a 3-year-old daughter who fills our home with joy, noise, and various stones, sticks, and tiny bits of plastic that she just has to keep. She already shares our love of books and adores going to the theatre. Our mummy-and-daughter theatre trips are a real highlight for me! She’s very creative and loves crafting, imaginary play, and all things unicorn.
Our Westie/Pug cross completes our little family, and we love finding dog-friendly and child-friendly places to visit so that we can bring the whole gang.
When I get ‘me time’ I enjoy visiting spas, trying out new beauty treatments, and drinking prosecco and cocktails with friends.
I’m excited to be joining the Yeah Lifestyle team!
