About-Me-Yeah-Lifestyle-Lifestyle-Blogger

Hello, My name is Asha Carlos and I am the Lead Blogger and Owner at Yeah Lifestyle.  I am a Lifestyle, Wedding and Portrait Photographer as well as a Freelance Writer based in the picturesque town of Biddulph in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire in United Kingdom just 10 minutes from the Cheshire border.

I am also a mum to two lovely beautiful kids aged 12 and 10-year-old who love posing for my photos. My husband and my children also follow me when I do reviews as their feedback and opinion is important for me to document especially when I review family-related events, holiday destinations and family-friendly restaurants. Otherwise, I usually head with a plus one to launches/restaurant reviews and events.

Sometimes due to overwhelming response, we do work with other bloggers/family. This will be indicated on the post. We are also looking to hire bloggers/families so if you are close by, drop me an email and we would love to chat with you.

I am really lucky and blessed that I am able to do what I love most as my job….capturing beautiful moments in time, documenting it and sharing it with everyone. I have received so many great news from friends and just readers that they enjoy reading the posts and have visited the place we featured. This brings me great joy as that was the point of the blog in the first place, to create awareness. At the same time, the blog also does sponsored posts/collaborative posts/ads with Brands, PR agencies as well as small businesses, so drop us a note to speak more about this.

I have over 10 years of experience doing photography, writing and blogging and have had lots of my writings published in both local and international newspapers and magazines.

Hi. I’m Colette Warbrook and I’m a blogger at Yeah Lifestyle. I also work as a freelance copywriter and children’s author, based in Nantwich, Cheshire.
For 12 years I worked at Sentinel News and Media in Stoke-on-Trent, where I wrote feature articles, reviews and news stories, and edited the nostalgia section.
I’m a director of Warbrook Creative Ltd, where I work alongside my husband Simon, a graphic and web designer.
As a freelance copywriter I work under the name The Writing Hub. I write content for websites, newsletters, magazine and newspaper articles, social media posts, blogs and press releases. I also offer proofreading and editing. And my debut children’s book, Help! I’ve Lost My Llama, is out now.
I’m mum to a 12-year-old son, Ewan, who is mad about Lego and Warhammer, and we often write family reviews.
My hobbies include cycling, walking, and reading (a lot!).

Libby11

Hi my name is Libby Dallimore and I’m the newest member of the team here at Yeah Lifestyle.

When I’m not running after my 7-year-old son Seb and 3-year-old daughter Margot I can be found personalising childrenswear over on Not on the High Street as Mini Mo and Mog, possibly drinking gin or listening to David Bowie.

Prior to my foray into children’s fashion I spent several years as a freelance journalist and features writer at the Sentinel in Stoke-on-Trent and wrote for a host of publications both online and in print.

I also spent many years working with young people for Stoke on Trent Council and now find myself once again working with challenging young adults in my role as a learning support worker at Newcastle and Stafford College Group.

My other half is a freelance web developer and works under Boundless Ltd – of which I am also a director. We live together with our bonkers babies in Stoke-on-Trent and enjoy trips in our blue VW camper van Bon Bon, big wild walks, music and festivals, books, dancing and being silly together!

We love going on day trips to new places and make good use of our Merlin Passes throughout the year so I’m looking forward to reviewing their attractions or events and you can contact me for collaborations on anything from fashion and beauty to theatre and gig reviews.

You can follow my adventures on Instagram and Twitter – @libwilko and @minimoandmog

Hello, my name is Row Jukes and I am a blogger at Yeah Lifestyle. I also work full-time in education and have done for 16 years. One of my passions is literature. I love to read (anything and everything)  and to share my love of it with others.

I am also a mum to two amazing (if a little crazy!) children. We love the outdoors and take our beautiful 2-year-old dog on as many adventures as possible. Our hobbies include: running, walking, playing football and reading as much as possible! We love camping adventures and think there’s nothing better than paddling in the sea or looking for shells on the beach. We also love listening to all types of music.

Running is one of my big passions and I love to run with my family and friends. My biggest running achievement to date was to complete the London Marathon in 2019. If I could have bottled that feeling running over the finishing line and kept it forever, I would have!

If you would like to contact us to review your products, restaurants or hotel venue, just drop us a message. We mainly cover areas in Manchester, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Birmingham, Liverpool and London but will travel further and Internationally for events, restaurant launches and family-friendly holiday travel destinations.

Brigitte

Hello, I am Brigitte, a new blogger at Yeah Lifestyle. I no longer work… hooray!
I came over to England back in the late 1970s but return to France on a regular basis.  I also visit my family in Austria and Reunion Island often.
I was a Procurement Consultant for a number of years, working all over the UK, Europe and the USA. My role was to reduce the expenditure of my client’s companies.

Since the birth of my grandchildren, I love spending a lot of time with them.

My hobbies include entertaining friends by cooking cordon bleu meals and pairing them with appropriate wines; also, baking, computing, researching my family tree (which can be a challenge when your four grandparents all come from different countries), cross-stitch, knitting and travelling (as often as possible).

I am a gadget-nut, be it cooking, electronic, computing or crafting gadgets.

About Us

Hello, I am Metia, a musician, freelance editor and fashion pattern cutter. I live with my family in the Staffordshire Moorlands, where I work part-time from home, usually subtitling media.

My hobbies include playing electric guitar in a band, drawing, writing, making clothes and reading. I was educated at home with my four siblings in a draughty old house with no television, lots of books and the great outdoors as a playground. There I read everything, from Enid Blyton to Aldous Huxley. Later on I taught music to children in schools.

Most of the work I review for a living tends to be corporate documents, so it’s great to get the opportunity of sharing my thoughts on books and theatre events here on the blog!

Do note that if the review had been sponsored or if its a paid feature write-up, this will be indicated as a ‘collaborative post’ but all opinions are our own. Have a look at our FAQ and Disclosure/Policies page for further details.
