The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan
Stoke–on Trent‘s favourite funny man, Jonny Wilkes, is making a flying return to The Regent Theatre this Christmas in The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan.
Brought to audiences by the World‘s biggest pantomime producer, Crossroads Pantomimes, The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan will run from Friday, 9 December until Saturday, 31 December 2022. It will feature all the madcap mayhem Stoke audiences have come to expect from The Regent‘s Christmas spectacular, with spectacular special effects, stunning song and dance and plenty of audience participation.
Jonny will star as the hilariously entertaining Smee while Kai Owen will be playing the legendary Captain Hook. They will be bringing the laugh–out–loud comedy Stoke audiences have come to expect from the region’s favourite panto. Hannah Everest also joins the cast as Wendy and Amanda Coutts makes a return to Stoke as Tinker Bell.
It will be the perfect festive treat for all the family and to top it all, we are holding a competition to give away a family ticket for four worth £110 on Press Night – Friday, 9 December 2022. So keep on scrolling to find out how you can join Jonny and the team on a swashbuckling trip this Christmas at The Regent Theatre where laughter is guaranteed by the barrel–load.

Cast Details of The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan
In what will be his 18th season at the Regent Theatre panto, Jonny Wilkes is no stranger to the stage. He has enjoyed a varied career including lead roles in Chicago, The Rocky Horror Show, Guys and Dolls and Grease, and held hosting duties on You‘ve Been Framed and Love on a Saturday Night on television.
Kai Owen is best known for his portrayal of Rhys in the worldwide hit series Torchwood created by Russell T Davies. In 2015 Kai was cast as Pete on Channel 4‘s Hollyoaks. He was involved in an extremely powerful storyline that along with support from the NSPCC gained great acclaim from critics and audiences alike. Kai is a familiar face to Stoke–on–Trent audiences having appeared in several Crossroads Pantomimes on the Regent stage. Helping to bring The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan to life, Kai will be playing the role of Captain Hook and bringing all his usual hijinks and humour to the stage.
Hannah Everest recently graduated from studying Musical Theatre at Bird College. Her highlighted credits include June in Gypsy (Buxton Opera House), title role in Sleeping Beauty (Sheffield Lyceum), Baby June in Gypsy, Brigitta in The Sound of Music and Annie in Annie and Ensemble in Oliver! (all at Leicester Curve).
Amanda Coutts returns to Stoke after appearing in previous productions of Peter Pan and Aladdin at the Regent. Amanda has appeared on the West End as Meat in We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre and many UK Tours including Starlight Express, Footloose and West Side Story.
