Reaseheath College in Nantwich, Cheshire will be hosting a Lambing Weekend during the weekends of 5th and 6th as well as 12th & 13th March 2022. The whole family can enjoy this unique springtime experience. Children will always remember seeing lambs being born! This year the event will be held in new, more spacious facilities on their main campus and will also include a Farmers Market! There will also be lots of fun children’s activities taking place including farm competitions and colouring.
Reaseheath’s Mini Zoo, which is one of the best at any educational institution in the country, will also be open to the public. The lambing weekends have been a major draw to the college over the past 24 years, with many visitors returning each season from as far away as Merseyside and Derbyshire to meet the newborns and hopefully to experience a live birth. Things to note:
- This event is not suitable for expectant ladies
- Do wash or sanitise your hands after touching any animal
- There will be several food outlets on campus serving hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks and they will also be hosting a Farmers Market once again.
- Reaseheath College is a cashless campus, card payment is available. They also accept debit card payments and apple pay.
- Dogs are not permitted
- Please wear suitable footwear
- Free car parking
The Reaseheath Zoo will also be open over their Lambing Weekends and the ticket prices will include entrance to both the Lambing event and the Zoo. It will take place over two weekends – the 5th & 6th March as well as the 12th & 13th March from 10am-4pm.
