It is that time of the season already! Oh yes it is!!
The much-awaited favourites, Rock ‘n’ roll panto returns again to Stafford Gatehouse Theatre in Staffordshire this festive season and this time will feature the classic adventure story of boy done-good Dick Whittington! The show is set to open on Friday, 7 December 2018 and will run until Sunday, 6 January 2019. Audiences of all ages will be mesmerised to see Dick Whittington and his trusty friend Tabby the Cat dancing, twisting and singing their way to London in search of fame, fortune and Rock ‘n’ Roll. Be prepared for the most amazing show in town as Dick dons his guitar, Alice takes on a Saxophone, and a host of incredibly talented actor/musicians strike up the band live on stage for some true rock ‘n’ roll. Some of the popular hits which is set to feature in this year’s Panto include blockbusters ‘Aint No Mountain High Enough’, ‘Dead Ringer for Love’, ‘Band of Gold’, ‘Tainted Love’, ‘Walking On Sunshine’, ‘Gimme Some Lovin’ and many, many more!
We can’t believe that 2018 will actually mark the seventh year since rock ‘n’ roll panto made a successful return to Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, and Theatre Manager Mark Farley is delighted to see the format continue to go from strength to strength. Last year tickets for their show Robin Hood and the Babes sold out quickly so we would recommend early booking to ensure that you and the whole family have got your tickets as tickets for this year’s shows are expected to quickly sell out.

The show will open on Friday, 7 December 2018 and run until Sunday, 6 January 2019 with show timings on their website.
How much are the tickets and how do I book them?
Adult £20.00, Concession £15.50, Family Ticket £66 There will also be a few adults-only performances (19 December, 2 and 3rd January 2019). Tickets £17.50.

Where is Stafford Gatehouse Theatre?
Stafford Gatehouse is an old Victorian theatre for professional and amateur shows, including Shakespeare and children’s plays. In 2007, the Borough Hall was reopened as Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, by his Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester. The Borough Hall was originally opened on 20 June 1877 and the building once housed Stafford Borough Council.
