Seasons Veg Box offers a variety of fruit, veg and salad delivered to your door in and around the Stafford area. Convenient for those that work long hours, have a busy family household or just for those that can’t be bothered to head out to the supermarket!
We don’t have a fruit and veg stall near us so I was typically excited about the delivery of this fresh fruit and veg box delivered to our door in Stoke-on-Trent. We’ve only just caught up with the times as a city when it comes to the latest food delivery apps, so to have a local company deliver fresh, locally sourced produce, also run by a local family which is crucial to support during these circumstances.
What did I think of it?
As you can see by the images, the box really is varied and lots of different meals can be made from the produce, which is all cherry-picked and so fresh it’s fit for farm shops and markets! It’s also absolutely plastic-free, unlike supermarket fruit and veg, so you’re reducing your carbon footprint by minimising the amount of plastic that gets created. In this time we are living in, we are becoming more eco-conscious and shopping with Seasons Veg Box is a lovely reminder of that. On top of the crucial benefits of plastic-free packaging, it’s also aesthetically pleasing and nostalgic to see produce in brown paper bags overflowing in a lovely wooden box. It really brings back that milk-man style magic and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to see the lovely owner turn up on my doorstep with a big box of colour!
The large box includes over ten items of veg and four different varieties of fruit, it is also great value for money – some competitor brands charging up to £50 for boxes with similar contents.
Another great thing about Seasons Veg Boxes is that they deliver to semi-rural towns like Barlaston, so if you live in a little village just outside of Stafford, this will be your saving grace if like me, you’re one of life’s pedestrians and walking around winding country lanes is nigh-on impossible with young children dependent on me 99.9% of the time.
Some items weren’t as fresh as I would’ve liked, however, a majority of the box lasted much longer than your average supermarket veg – the cauliflower lasting a solid 2 weeks until we turned it into a gorgeous cauliflower cheese!
I would definitely recommend trying out this new service. Have a browse on their website and see what exciting, delicious package they could bring to you! No matter what your circumstances, you’d be a fool not to try out what delicious convenience!

The large fruit, veg and salad box cost £22 and you can purchase it from their website here. Choose a smaller box as an alternative if you live alone at home or have smaller storage space, or opt for an all-fruit box if you’re feeling in need of your five a day!

We have a local fruit and veg producer that sell and delivers boxes. These have been a god send during the lockdown when it has been difficult to get out and about.

£22 does seem like a really good value for the amount of fruit and veg you got. It’s a shame that some things weren’t as fresh though x

I think that is a decent price for a large fruit and veg box. I used to have a box delivery here in south wales and everything was so fresh. If I lived closer I would have this for sure
