To celebrate reopening after over a year and a half with the doors closed, the Regent Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent will be welcoming the public in for a day filled with backstage secrets and fun-filled workshops.
The Open Day will be held on Saturday, 21 August 2021 and will see the theatre host a variety of activities including Mask-making, Circus and Dance workshops, all of which are available to be booked online, free of charge.
For those looking to delve into the inner workings of the iconic building, Backstage Tours are also running throughout the day. Their members of staff will be on hand to answer all of your questions and provide insight into everything that goes on behind the scenes!
The venue’s fantastic Creative Learning Group will also be making their long-awaited return to the stage, performing dance pieces. In addition to all of this entertainment, refreshments will also be on hand to keep guests fuelled up!

About Regent Theatre
The Regent Theatre is a theatre in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Constructed in 1929 as a cinema, it is one of several theatres in the city centre and one of two owned by the Ambassador Theatre Group. The building was converted for full-time use as a theatre in 1999, and since then has hosted a number of shows and musicals. The theatre is also the northern base for the Glyndebourne Touring Opera.
