The much-loved family favourite – The Amazing Adventures of Pinocchio – has had an Immersion Theatre makeover in a brand-new musical adaptation and has been touring the UK throughout Spring 2019, and it will be making its’ way to Stafford Gatehouse Theatre in Staffordshire this May.
Based on the fantastical children’s book, this magical story leaps off the page and onto the stage in this high energy re-telling of Pinocchio’s extraordinary adventures. Packed with comedy, audience interaction, and a host of new songs guaranteed to have you singing along from start to finish, this high energy musical promises to be the perfect treat for the whole family, no strings attached!
The Amazing Adventures of Pinocchio is written and directed by Immersion Theatre’s Artistic Director James Tobias and composed by Robert Gathercole. Together, the pair have created musical adaptations of Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Wind in the Willows, and The Wizard of Oz, all of which have gone on to have successful UK tours.

Where is Stafford Gatehouse Theatre?
Stafford Gatehouse is an old Victorian theatre for professional and amateur shows, including Shakespeare and children’s plays. In 2007, the Borough Hall was reopened as Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, by his Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester. The Borough Hall was originally opened on 20 June 1877 and the building once housed Stafford Borough Council.

About Immersion Theatre
