In the current climate of COVID-19 and self-isolation, many are no longer able to attend events, which might seem difficult when you’re about to begin the adventure of becoming new parents or grandparents. As I remember, one of the joys of being pregnant was going to big baby events and shows where I was able to bag bargains for my new baby. If you are in a similar situation, don’t worry as we have a solution. Keira the Founder and Owner of Mama Designs, a brand selling beautiful baby accessories felt that this was totally unfair and decided to set up The Online Baby Event, where new parents could attend an event from the comfort of their own home. Allowing everyone who might miss out on the huge arena-style events that are usually put on throughout the year, which have now been cancelled.
This is event is totally free and will take place over three days from 1 to 3 April 2020 and will allow you to access a variety of brands selling items at discounted prices. You will also have access to live interviews from various celebrities and professionals within the baby market. Some of whom include; the fabulous Annabel Karmel who has created a library of amazing recipes specifically designed for babies and children; and Anna Williamson, who came to fame as a CITV presenter and now has becoming the best selling author to three books, Breaking Mad: The Insiders Guide to Conquering Anxiety, Breaking Mum and Dad: The Insiders Guide to Parenting Anxiety, How Not to Lose It: Mental Health Sorted.
As well as all the celebrities you will also have access to lots of baby brands that will have special event discounts on, where you can shop from the safety of your own home and still get some much-wanted bargains for your new little bundle. Brands involved include Juno Jack’s, Cosatto, Hippy Chick, Jem & Bea, Mumba Bra, Grace and many many more. You really will be spoilt for choice with what’s on offer, and will be able to really get a good look at what’s available without having to leave your sofa!
So, how does it work? Well, firstly you will need to sign up. You do this by going to their specially created webpage here – Once you have done this, you won’t hear from The Online Baby Event until the launch date, when you will be asked to join the Facebook group, which is where you will be able to view all the interviews in stories and view all the brand catalogues through accessing the photo albums on the group page. Once you are in Albums, you can click on your chosen brand album and take a look at what they have on offer. Within their albums, you may find things like discount codes and links to their websites, so that you can pick and choose exactly which products are most suited to you. If you have any questions for the brands you can simply comment on one of their images where they will be happy to reply to you. Making it a truly interactive experience.

About Mama Designs
Keira the Founder of Mama Designs launched her business almost 10 years when her firstborn was still a baby. Having struggled to find a suitable breastfeeding cover, she decided to design and make one of her own. Which then became a really successful product and allowed her to expand her company and develop more baby orientated designs.
She now has a whole host of products within her range all of which is safety tested to UK and European Safety Standards. Keira also has all her products trailed out by the parents and babies to ensure that they really are products that the whole family will want to use. Mama Designs also pride themselves on great customer service and make sure they treat their customers how they would love to be treated too.
The launch of this event is the brainchild of Keira again, who felt that the current lockdown situation was really unfair for new mums and dads who may have wanted to attend the many baby events that take place. So to compensate for this she created The Online Baby Event! Which I think we can’t thank her enough for as without it new parents over the next few months might not otherwise be able to enjoy in the build-up of the growth of their new family.
