This festive season, we decided to visit BeWILDerwood Presents Christmas in Cheshire, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience! Here’s our take on what made it so magical.
We were thankful for being able to attend the event after it was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather earlier in December.
What Did We Think of BeWILDwood’s Christmas in Cheshire ?
The BeWILDerwood Presents Christmas Light Trail was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a magical atmosphere with twinkling lights, enchanting displays, and a festive buzz that got everyone in the Christmas spirit.
The highlight for us was most certainly the entertaining and funny interactive pantomime! Just long enough to be suitable for all and engaging and funny at the same time. The puppetry, singing and dancing , along with the beautiful puppets were enchanting and had all the typical panto experiences (Oh yes it did!).
The beautifully crafted light installations that lined the trail, transforming the woodland into a winter wonderland.
The mini pantomime added a lovely touch, combining humour and heartwarming moments that kept both kids and adults entertained. And, of course, meeting Father Christmas at the end of the trail was the cherry on top.
His warm and welcoming manner made it a truly special moment for the children. The trail ended with a small gift which all the children were thankful for and was a lovely finish.

While the park’s regular attractions, like the treehouses and zip wires, are closed, the dedicated Christmas areas more than make up for it.
