Anglesey Sea Salted Caramel Truffles
Opening the truffles were almost like opening a present as the anticipation of what we were about to find was just immense. We opened the box to find that the truffles were packaged in little bags, we then opened them and eagerly reached for the rich milk chocolate truffles which were coated in cocoa powder. Upon taking a bite, we tasted the smooth chocolate first then we bit into the sweet gooey caramel filling inside. We were soon greeted with bursts of subtle flavours of sea salt in it. The combination of flavours somehow worked perfectly and we loved it! This was also a favourite amongst our kids as well as family members who were not keen on alcohol.

Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles
We were excited to try these pink truffles as we wanted to know what was really special about it. We inspected it first and it looked perfectly smooth with a dusting of icing sugar on it. Upon taking a tiny bite, we immediately knew that it was one of a kind. The smooth Belgian white chocolate just melted in our mouth and it tasted heavenly. On the inside of the truffles, there was a soft creamy centre of white chocolate flavoured with real Champagne. The Champagne flavour was strong but not overpowering and it felt luxurious and tasted perfect.

Prosecco Truffles
Curious about these Prosecco Truffles, we gave it a quick lick to find it was coated in icing sugar. The next bite introduced us to the smooth texture of the milk chocolate which we were already familiar and in love with. These prosecco truffles were filled with a creamy chocolate centre which was mixed with real Prosecco. We found the initial flavour of the Prosecco too strong but this slowly mellowed down. We were not surprised that it was not our favourite as we generally prefer drinking Champagne anyday to Prosecco.

We inspected the Champagne truffles curiously, and similar to the earlier truffles, these were perfectly made and coated with icing sugar. Our first bite proved that we were right, this was made with quality smooth milk chocolate. As we continued to bite deeper into the truffle, we discovered its middle was a creamy centre infused with real Champagne. Again, the flavours were dancing in our mouth, we loved the burst of Champagne as well as the smooth milk chocolate. It was perfect.
Our verdict: It is hard to pick a favourite out of the four, but clearly it was a choice between the Anglesey Sea Salt Caramel, the Champagne truffle and the Pink Champagne Truffle. We had to try these truffles many times but decided that it was a tie in the end. Because we are not fans of Prosecco, somehow the Prosecco Truffle flavour was not our favourite but if you love Prosecco, then you would certainly love the truffles as well.
- The top hat boxes looks very posh and is perfect as a present for someone special, no matter the occassion
- The truffles are all suitable for vegetarians
- Beech cares about the environment and they seek to only work with suppliers who are eco-friendly and who believe in sustainable farming
- There were just about 10 chocolates in each box bearing a total weight of 140g . You might think that it is expensive for so few chocolates, but do remember these are all luxury hand made chocolate and you only need one or two at a time to feel totally satisfied.

Harpak delivered the chocolate intact, undamaged and the flavour of the chocolate truffles were not altered.
How to eat Chocolate Truffles ?
When we do reviews, we tend to share the products we receive with family and friends and get their opinions and use their feedback into our blog post. We noticed a lot of people just ate the truffles like it was a normal bar of chocolate. So we thought of emphasizing the point that Chocolate Truffles are an item of luxury. Sit down and savour every bite of it, enjoy it with a good glass of champagne or sweet wine and let the flavours dance in your mouth. Don’t rush it, just take your time to discover each hidden layer.

I’ve not heard of this brand before. These truffles sound good though. I especially like the sound of the pink champagne ones.
Its an old brand, started in 1920s, so they have been around for a while now. Pink Champagne Turffles definitely, if you love white chocolates.
Oh my goodness check out those truffles I bet they taste absolutely amazing! I love the idea of them being handmade!
Yes they tasted amazing Sarah
Ooh girl I love me some truffles and I can imagine how hard it is to pick your favourite box of truffles. The sea salt truffles sounds absolutely delicious 😋
Yes totally!! The salt see and champagne ones rocked for us!
I was so looking forward to my Christmas indulgence of the77 Luxury truffles, that I opened them 2 days after delivery!
But I was extremely disappointed!
I was expecting to just sink my teeth into a smooth, soft, chocolate truffle and enjoy a beautiful centre!
But they were all so brittle and hard and really difficult to bite into! So sorry, but no pleasure at all in my Christmas guilty treat to myself!
I buy a lot of truffles and this is one time I have not been able to just sink in my teeth and think “Aahh, how moreish are these!”
I appreciate everyone has different tastes, but a hard brittle shell is not for me….
Sorry to hear that Brenda, maybe best to check with Beech directly to see if the batch you received was faulty?
Ohhh these sound drool worthy. I will have to get me some of these! H 🙂

We’d have to agree with you and would opt for the Sea Salted Caramel ones or the Champagne ones over Prosecco. The way you describe them is great!
Thanks Baby Isabella
I love the look of these delicious truffles. I bet I would like the prosecco one as I love prosecco!
How wonderful! They have the exact flavour so you would love it
I love the fact the truffles are suitable for vegetarians so no one misses out. Personally I would avoid the alcohol ones as I’m not a drinker but the Sea Salted Caramel with the soft cocoa powder and gooey centre would be ones I’d happily demolish!
Totally! They tasted amazing Kirsty!!
I have always wanted to try the Marc de Champagne Truffles as I have seen them around but never imagined how they must taste. The Prosecco ones sound delicious as well!

Oh yum, these look so tasty. I am really into salted caramel at the moment so the idea of salted caramel truffles is right up my street!
Yes they tasted amazing!
I absolutely love truffles and happen to think that they make a fab gift. I sometimes struggle to find nut free versions, so many seem to have traces of hazelnut in them. Salted caramel sounds utterly delicious.
Yes these are fabulous gifts as they are packed perfectly in a gift box
Ooo a do love choccy truffles and these would make ideal gifts for mothers day x
Yes definitely, thanks Melanie
I’m the opposite to you, I prefer Prosecco over Champagne so they would definitely be my first try. They look like really luxurious chocolates in their lovely packaging
We are sure you would Tanya, you must try it then
I love truffles, but not ones with alcohol in them – they just taste weird to me, haha! But they do look great, though!
Try the salt sea caramel ones, they have no alcohol in them
