To The Manner Born
[Ad-gifted] I am so excited to share that the review for the third book from the trilogy of Jennifer Brown Series is finally being shared on the blog. Our avid blog readers would remember that I reviewed the first book, Jennifer Brown’s Journey nearly three years ago and this was followed by Angie Langley’s second book, Jennifer Brown Moving On two years ago.
This Bridget Jones with knobs on has moved on quite a bit since she was the worst typist on the planet, using every ounce of her steely core to rise to the shedloads of challenges life has thrown at her.
In Jennifer Brown To The Manner Born, the fiery five-foot-one free spirit has greatness thrust upon her, now that she’s been gifted the rambling Elizabethan manor house she used to manage.
But you know Jennifer – she can move in the most sophisticated of society’s circles and lose none of her gutsy, down-to-earth charm. And, as always, she’ll need all her reserves of energy, strength and good humour to keep a whole host of balls in the air – the threat of financial ruin, her best friend’s broken heart, and two proposals of marriage. Oh, and two unexpected llamas. As usual, she’ll find creative ways to deal with it all. But the universe is about to choose the happiest, most rewarding time in Jennifer’s life to throw her the biggest challenge yet.
So keep on reading to find out more about this wonderful book and how you can win a copy of this book for yourself (5 winners).

What did I think of To The Manner Born ?
As excited as I was about reading the third and final book in the series, I was equally sad that there will be no more books about Jennifer Brown and her adventurous after this as I have enjoyed reading the series over the years.
I can’t share about Jennifer Brown To The Manner Born without mentioning about the earlier two books. Although this book can be read as a standalone book, I would recommend purchasing the earlier two books as it will make the reading experience more complete as Jennifer grows in character in each book.
Book One, Jennifer Brown’s Journey shared about Jennifer and how lovable she was, each chapter showcased her trials and tribulations of life. She was so relatable yet funny in everyway. Book Two, Jennifer Brown Moving On felt like I’d met an old friend and we connected immediately. The author Langley fine tuned Jennifer’s character in this book and I saw Jennifer becoming more sure of herself and knowing who she is. Again the humour and and adventurous made the book even better than the first.

Finally, the Third Book, Jennifer Brown To The Manner Born rekindled old lost memories and I felt I was in good company again, like a long lost friend. The book was not only entertaining but heart warming. I took the book everywhere with me, from afterschool clubs while I waited for my children and on our holiday break and read each page slowly to devour every moment.
It was wonderful to see Jennifer bring the Elizabethan manor house, Thornhill from its financial ruins to its glory with a fabulous team behind her all the way. I love how positive she is in each situation that is thrown at her and her perseverance to overcome it. There are moments of laughter, especially when she had her vajazzle done and moments of sadness when old wounds surface in the book and loss…It was strange as I cared about her wellbeing (although she is just a character). Without revealing too much, I can say that the book ended how it should have and I am so happy for Jennifer.
Not many authors have the gift of writing so naturally and every series is better than the last one and Langley has that gift. I do hope this is not the last of Jennifer Brown and this would surely be turned into a best-selling Hollywood movie.

About Angie Langley
Angie Langley grew up in Somerset and has lived in the south-west of England all her life. Nowadays her home is in the beautiful Woodford Valley near Salisbury, on the banks of the River Avon. A tiny piece of heaven and a true writers paradise. When Angie’s not writing, she’s a keen wildlife photographer and currently working on a book of poems for children all about the local wildlife who live along the riverbank. Writing Jennifer Brown s Journey was a labour of love for Angie. Most of the book is based on her true-life experiences, enhanced by her furtive imagination which takes over as humorous characters and situations are brought in to provide the chapters with the emotional balance she feels is required. Many of these humorous elements are the result of everyday observations.
