
We can’t believe how time has flown by and its already ‘almost’ February! Soon the kid’s will be off school again for their February Half Term holidays and we are going to be sharing with you all the upcoming events and fun activities which you can do as a family around Manchester, Cheshire and Staffordshire, to keep them busy! We are starting it off with a list of crafty activities which will be happening at Bridgemere, Wyevale Garden Centre.
If your kids love to get their hand’s dirty, then this is the place to go as the centre has recently launched its series of fun-filled activities for budding young gardeners. Aimed at kids aged between three to eight-years-old, the activities will be taking place from 19 until 23 February. The session would give them the opportunity to grow their own garden features, build bird houses and terrariums, and even plant their own mini gardens! Each session will run for 20 minutes, bringing to life the joys of gardening and wildlife for little ones.

If all of this doesn’t sound like enough fun for the half-term holidays, all events include a free activity sheet to take home or complete in centre. Here are the list of activities:
Make a Bird Home
Kids will get the chance to decorate a cosy bird box for your garden birds.
Date: Monday, 19 February
Cost: £2.50 (20 minute sessions)
Terrific Terrarium
Kids will get the chance to plant their own terrarium and give their plants a place to thrive.
Date: Tuesday, 20 February
Cost: £2.50 (20 minute sessions)
Grown Your Own Mini Garden
Kids will get the chance to plant their own mini garden with giant flowers, beehives and wild friends.
Date: Wednesday, 21 February
Cost: £2.50 (20 minute sessions)
Flower Power Pot
Kids will get the chance to
Plant your own flower and decorate a pot and plant marker.
Date: Thursday, 22 February
Cost: £2.50 (20 minute sessions)
Feed the Birds
Kids will get the chance to create their own feeder platform to entice more birds into the garden.
Date: Friday, 23 February
Cost: £2.50 (20 minute sessions)
