Zerowater 12 Cup Water Filter Jug 

Despite living in a hard water area we never used to bother filtering our tap water. That was until a few years ago when we decided to buy a pet goldfish. Before we could welcome Goldie to his new home we had to take a sample of the tank’s water to the aquarium to get tested and out of curiosity, we decided to take some tap water along too. When I tested our tap water it was 317 and after I filtered it in the tank it did indeed then read zero. I have to confess i’m not 100% sure what this all means but there’s a handy guide included which explains the water test score and contaminant level.  Overall it’s an extremely effective filter jug – you can certainly notice the difference especially if you live in a hard water area, however, the jug’s size makes it difficult to store and the replacement filters are expensive so it’s costly to run.
