Gandeys Circus 2020 UK tour featuring an international cast of over 30 performers will be heading to Newcastle-Under-Lyme again in Staffordshire this March. We watched them perform last year and my whole family loved it. Expect heart-stopping spectacular performances by their fearless artistes (which are hand-picked direct from each corner of the earth) who will perform death-defying acts in the fully-heated 1,000-seat big top. This year we’re also bringing you the double trouble of two clowns, Chico AND Andreea!

The Latino ensemble of Cuba twist, swing, somersault and catch each other off a frame without the aid of a safety net – before suspending themselves from the big top roof, hanging by just their hair. The all-new Gandeys Flying Saddles gallop into the ring – with acrobatics inspired by equestrian riding tricks. Spinning round-and-round at high speed, the roller-skating Duo Eclipse perform incredible hand-to-hand skills topped off with a daring neck-spin before the double wheel of death takes centre stage. The awe-inspiring Indian gymnasts show off the ancient skill of Mallakhamba, tumbling up and down a pole to the beat of Bollywood without pause for breath. All-American motorbikers ride the high wire, the mighty engines of their machines drowned out by the roar of the crowd. Camila the Goddess of the Skies swings through the clouds on the trapeze, and Alejandro astonishes in a risky Rolla Rolla act, balancing on ever-increasing towers of wobbling tubes. But the thrills don’t end there… our Day of the Dead finale featuring the motorbike thunderdome – back by popular demand – will leave you screaming for more, before the encore of a stunning laser light show!
During their time in Newcastle, they will also be raising money for the wonderful Donna Louise Hospice with collections taking places during and after the show.
