Holly Willoughby’s Latest Collection Launch at M&S Wolstanton*

We were recently invited to the launch of Holly Willoughby’s latest Must-Have Collection at the Ladies Section of Marks & Spencer store in Wolstanton, Stoke-on-Trent.  The retail park in Wolstanton is one of our favourite places to head to as there are a few retail outlets and coffee shops there and parking is ample.  Our invitation mentioned that we would be getting a glimpse of Holly’s latest 15-piece edit of her favourite pieces from her denim collection at the store as well as some of her trendy shoe collection, belts and handbags.

The event was open to all M&S customers, and the area cordoned off was very cosy and beautifully decorated for those wanting to take selfies.  As I arrived, I was escorted to the seated area for bloggers and VIPs, we were offered a drink and some snack as we waited for the models to do the catwalk.

While we waited for the event to start, we were served a lovely and refreshing unalcoholic beverage which was Sparkling Rhubarb & Ginger Presse by Amy (the organiser wearing the black top) and some models who were wearing Holly’s collection. The drink was very refreshing as it was a warm day.

The collection itself was very Holly, looking at the clothes, you know it would be something she would wear and it caters for all age range. Even older ladies can get away wearing the clothes without looking like lamb in sheep’s clothings.

What did I think about the event and Holly’s Collection?

Although the whole session went by too quickly, the event on a whole was beautifully organised and the launch space was decorated very nicely. I personally would have preferred a red floor runaway style (red carpet) for the models to walk so that we could spend more time looking at the clothes as they walked.  Nevertheless the models came up to us after the show so we had a closer look at the clothes.  The M&S staff at Wolstanton were all very helpful and pleasant …..and the models, very accommodating.  Personally, we love to blog about local events especially those happening around the Staffordshire area so we were really happy to be there to offer our support as we love Staffordshire.  In a nutshell, Holly’s Clothing Collection, was faultless….could I see myself wearing it? Yes definitely…her price range is very affordable too.. starting from £8.50 for a t-shirt and this goes up to £49.50 for the denim dress. The leather hip belt costs £19.50, her crossbody bag costs £29.50 and the suede ankle boots cost £49.50.  I totally loved how she has made her collection complete..I could walk in and get the dress, belt, bag and boots and walk out without having to stop off anywhere else. It’s like a one-stop shopping spot for those who want to look stylish and ooze a chic modern feel to their look.  The Collection also gives M&S stores a fresh breath of air as it caters t0  a trendier crowd.

About Holly Willoughby

At the age of 14, Holly was discovered by Storm Modelling Agency whilst on a school trip. In just a few years she had been the face of Rimmel, the body of Pretty Polly and appeared on the covers of various women’s magazines.
