Kids summer school holiday activities at intu Potteries
Summer School Holidays are almost here!! Six weeks for Staffordshire, starting at the end this week and five weeks for Cheshire school kids, starting at the end of next week. if you’re a parent just like us wondering how you are going to keep your kids entertained then don’t worry. We will be sharing lost of activities to keep your kids entertained.
For a start, why not head to intu Potteries Shopping Centre in Hanley for some good food, shopping and fabulous entertained which has been lined up to keep the kids entertained.
From the 26 July to the 31 August, there are lots of fun and free events happening every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This includes the All Aboard Show, a living mermaid, Fairytale contact juggler, teddy bears picnic and craft activities for children to design their own lighthouse and mini garden workshops.
intu Potteries with the partnership with Playmobil will provide 10 days of free building fun for the kids using age related tables and kits to build, dismantle and build again. This takes place from the 1 until 10 August.
There’s also more free fun at our indoor beach from the 26 July to 3 September outside River Island on the middle mall. Kids can have fun and build sandcastles in their 12 square metre indoor beach.

During school holidays, The Potteries Centre becomes more than just a shopping destination — it turns into a lively hub of family-friendly fun designed to keep children entertained between visits to the playground or cinema. The centre regularly hosts free and low-cost seasonal activities tailored to different breaks in the school calendar.
In the past, holiday events have also featured themed trails and adventure mazes with prizes to be won, giving children the chance to explore the centre in a playful way while parents relax or shop.
These activities are designed to be inclusive and engaging for a wide range of ages, making The Potteries Centre a useful and enjoyable stop on school holiday days out in Hanley.
