
Reaseheath College in Nantwich, Cheshire will be hosting a Lambing Weekend during the weekends of 1st and 2nd as well as 8th and 9th March 2025. The event will be offering families the chance to meet the adorable new arrivals and learn more about life on the farm.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see plenty of healthy lambs, explore the lambing sheds, and enjoy a fun, educational day out. Reaseheath Mini Zoo will also be open, featuring a variety of fascinating animals, and a Farmers’ Market will showcase delicious local produce and creative artisan crafts.
The Lambing and Zoo Weekends will run from 10am-4pm on all four days, with tickets including entry to both the lambing sheds and Reaseheath Mini Zoo, as well as access to the Farmers’ Market and food outlets. Parking is free and conveniently located on-site.
While live births cannot be guaranteed, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn about the lambing process, interact with the college’s farming experts and agriculture students, and discover more about the farming world.
Animal welfare remains the top priority, and the experienced farm team and vets will be on hand to ensure that all ewes and lambs receive the best possible care.
Things to note:
- Reaseheath College is a cashless campus so only card and contactless payments are available. Some of the Artisan Market stallholders will be accepting cash.
- This event is not suitable for expectant ladies
- Do wash or sanitise your hands after touching any animal
- There will be several food outlets on campus serving hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks and they will also be hosting an Artisan Market.
- They offer free entry for any guests who are caring for anyone who is registered as disabled. Documentations need to be provided.
- Dogs are not permitted
- Please wear suitable footwear

When is Reaseheath College Lambing Weekends?
The Reaseheath Zoo will also be open over their Lambing Weekends and the ticket prices will include entrance to both the Lambing event and the Zoo. It will take place over two weekends – the 1st and 2nd as well as the 8th and 9th March from 10am-4pm (last entry at 3pm).

Ticket Prices:
Family – two adults and up to three children – £30
Adult – £10
Child (3-16 years), Students, Senior Citizen and disabled with proof of ID – £6
Child under 3 – free
Carer – Disabled guests should purchase a standard adult/child ticket and their carer will be admitted for free. Any carer who purchases a ticket must accompany the person they are caring for on the visit. You will be required to provide documentation to validate this. (This can include a blue badge)
They only accept pre-paid tickets – you cannot buy a ticket on the gate

Where does the Reaseheath College Lambing Weekends take place?
Lambing visitors are asked to access the event via the college’s Main Entrance 1. This will be the only accessible entrance by car during the event. Follow directions to Reaseheath College and Entrance 1 is the second left turn off the B5074 (the road towards Winsford). Pedestrians will be able to enter the campus via Entrance 4 off their old drive, also off the A51.
