[Ad-gifted] Brand new The Dinosaur That Pooped A Rock Show! headed to Crewe Lyceum Theatre in Cheshire as part of its UK tour.
Danny and Dino’s favourite rock band, McFlush, are playing their last ever concert and the duo go on a quest to get the last two tickets. But with a villainous band manager lurking, nothing goes to plan.
Will the band perform? Will Danny rock out? Or will Dino’s rumbling tummy save the day?
Adapted from the best-selling books by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter, the whole family will have a poopy good time enjoying a brand, new story for the stage. Featuring new songs by Tom and Dougie, a lot of laughs and a whole lot of poo!

What we thought of the show
The hilarious Dinosaur That Pooped A Rock Show! is fast-paced fun from McFly stars Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter. With fun characters, fab songs, and silly poop humour, it was the perfect show for my four-year-old and her friend.
If you hadn’t already guessed from the title, this show goes in heavy on the toilet humour! So if your children find poo hilarious, then this is the show for them. My daughter Jemma and her friend Jamie are definitely the show’s target audience and loved it.
The cast are all incredibly energetic in their performances, essential for entertaining little ones. The show has quite a panto feel to it, with lots of fun songs, audience engagement, and a villain to boo. McFlush’s band manager, our dastardly villain, is hilariously over the top.
The show lasts approximately 75 minutes and runs straight through without an interval. We love a trip to the theatre, and for my daughter’s age and attention span, I do have a preference for these shorter shows with no interval.
When I asked my daughter and her friend what their favourite part of the show was, they both instantly said that it was when the dinosaur had a poo on stage. And yes, the stage is filled with brown foam to create the effect of Dino having a poop. They also loved the songs.
The show is perfect for any kids who are fans of the Dinosaur That Pooped book series or, to be fair, if they just find poop entertaining!
