The Winter Wonderland & Stoke Christmas Market is back again in Stoke-on-Trent after a successful run last year, here’s everything you need to know about the event.
Each winter, Stoke-on-Trent transforms into a seasonal highlight with Winter Wonderland, a sparkling attraction in the city centre. Running annually from late November through early January, Winter Wonderland brings festive cheer with a huge real ice rink under a light-filled canopy, thrilling fairground rides for all ages, colourful lights, Christmas trees and seasonal games. There’s plenty of delicious festive food and drink on offer—from Bavarian sausages and sweet treats to warm mulled wine and winter warmers—making it a fun day or evening out for families and friends alike.
Close by, the Stoke Christmas Market fills the streets and squares with cheerful stalls selling gifts, crafts, food and drink, often accompanied by local artisan markets and parades featuring Santa and live entertainment. Together, these events create a magical holiday atmosphere in the heart of Hanley, perfect for soaking up the festive spirit and picking up unique Christmas presents.
