Finding a good book to read can sometimes be hard, as I may not always pick the right book especially when I am asked to review books.
Well, this next eBook, A Billionaire Behind the Headlines by Rachael Stewart certainly was as I am a lover of feel-good love stories.
This is a love story with drama, passion, and romance. Romantic fiction isn’t for everyone, but it can be the perfect weekend fix and a great one to pick on a Saturday when waiting for your children to finish their morning sports activities, or when you have them entertained in the paddling pool and you spy your chance to take a seat in the sun and have a break to read. What I thought of A Billionaire Behind the Headlines
The eBook introduces you to a few key characters from the start; who are, Bree, an ex city-girl who has relocated to the countryside and works in her Aunt’s bakery, Angel her best friend’s teenage daughter, and her best friend Felicity. Although you don’t hear much about Angel and Felicity, as it turns out they are actually part of a book that precedes this one, called Secrets Behind the Billionaire’s Return. Where you find out about the bits you will want to know about when reading this book!
Bree is thrown together with Felicity’s love interests brother [Sebastian] (stick with me – it becomes clearer), who has returned after being away for 15 years. His return causes a stir in the village and along with it, a flurry of press follows suit to find out about the mysterious billionaire. But his other – also famous – brother [Theo] comes not too long after and also causes as much chaos as his brother.
Somehow (which you will find out when you read the book) they are thrust together and have to look after Felicity’s guest house. Which again, somehow, they manage to achieve. With it comes a complicated attraction between the two characters that as the book goes along evolves.
The eBook is sweet in nature – which is just how Rachael Stewart describes it on her website and sets the location scenes perfectly so that you can really picture where you are and what you are doing when reading the book.
The only thing I found difficult was to fully imagine what Bree and Theo look like, as their descriptions are suggestive rather than clear. But, it’s quite easy to create your own idea in your head so again not too much of an issue. My second and again only minor problem with this story was how quickly the romance aspect came about. I felt as though the two main characters were already almost in love at the start of the novel. That being said, don’t let this minor blip put you off, as it was a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Now this sounds like my type of book, like you I ususally like a bit more time to watch the romance blossom, but as you say it is only minor and will not put me off reading it
