Review: 4 Person Green Adventure Backpack*

[Ad-gifted] Although we have had some huge downpours over the past week, we can’t quite give up on summer yet. Although unpredictable, as with much of the British weather, we generally have good summers, where we can picnic and appreciate the outdoors. This is where my next review comes in, with the VonHaus VonShef 4-person Adventure Backpack.

This handy backpack has all the things you will need to make your luxury picnic possible – including a space for a bottle of wine or your favourite soft drink, metal cutlery, plastic wine glasses, plates and a knife and chopping board – so if you have forgotten to chop up your salad you don’t have to worry.

What I thought of the 4-Person Adventure Backpack by VonShef

Well, the first thing I noticed is how compact the bag is, which means it’s pretty easy to store when not in use. It has so much inside it’s hard to believe how it all slots in but with all the handy compartments you won’t have any problems re-assembling the bag when your picnic is done.

Most of the compartments, such as, the bottle bags and picnic blanket are detachable, so you can remove them when you are at your destination or if you don’t need them for your picnic they can be left behind. Also, to note the bottle bags are chiller bags so you can take your drinks and keep them cool whilst you travel.

Inside the backpack is a chilled lunch box, this is handy in that you can put all your chilled items such as sandwiches in here. It is a snug fit inside the bag, so if you had lots of items and weren’t travelling too far you could remove it and carry it by the small handle and then fit more items inside the backpack. My only issue with this is I wish it unzipped so that it would open all the way, that way you could access the items inside much easier.

The colour is good, in that it suits most tastes, although I think it would be nice in a denim or maybe a deep brown colour too and could add variety for the buyer. The texture of the fabric is canvas style and the faux leather adds a bit of character.

My favourite part is the simplicity of design when it comes to the plates and glasses. They look chic and functional which is exactly what you want from a picnic bag. Also all the added extras, like cloth napkins, salt and pepper shakers, a bottle opener, the chopping board and a handy serrated knife.

All in all, this is a great picnic backpack and will easily fit enough food for four people along with areas you can still sneak in a few extra snacks. The picnic blanket attachment means you don’t have to try and carry a huge blanket under your arm it all fits within the backpack meaning it’s so easy to transport about.
