Now the watch is stunning to look at and very feminine in design, they have used Swarovski crystals to adorn the exquisite midnight blue dial to depict the Little Dipper. The 34mm The strap is made from a stunning walnut hand-polished metal with rose gold tones.

The wood watch is exquisitely made, here are some of its winning features:
Stellar dial – The 34mm dial is the distinctive face of Cora. Hand-set Swarovski crystal constellation depicts the Little Dipper. The North Star is accentuated at 12 o’clock. Hour markers are denoted with coloured stones creating subtlety with readability.
Interlaced wood & polished metal bracelet – The Cora band features beautifully finished hardwoods, enclosed in polished metals. Designed and produced in a 16mm width to provide a true bracelet feel with just enough aesthetic control. Add or remove links to support wrist sizes from 130mm or larger (default size 160mm)
Self-winding automatic movement – 21 jewels, perpetual, self-winding automatic means no batteries. 40-hour power reserve is maintained through hand winding and the natural movement of your body. Mechanics are visible through both the window on the front dial and a sapphire crystal exhibition back. 5 ATM water-resistant casing ensures the mechanics remain in pristine condition.
Scratch-proof sapphire crystal – Sapphire crystal provides superior clarity and scratch resistance. Second, only to diamond in its hardness, our premium crystal allows for maximum lustre and durability.
What Did I think of the Wood Watch Cora Polaris?
The watch I am featuring in this post is called Cora Polaris and the colour is Walnut & Midnight. There are 3 other colours in this series – Koa & Rose Gold, Zebrawood & Turquiose as well as Maple & Vintage Brown. My watch came beautifully packaged in a white box, with a care & maintenance booklet, a polishing cloth as well as a preserve finishing oil (which I am to apply at least twice) to help the wood properly condition. The watch is water resistant and easy to wear with two clips to secure the back of the watch so it does not fall off easily. All JORD watches also comes with a warranty. Personally, I love wearing the watch and enjoy watching the movement of the seconds hand as it is so smooth and mesmerising. It is slightly heavier than my usual watch, but I soon got used to its weight. Another thing to add is that quite recently due to the development of technology… people have stopped wearing a watch as they use their phone or fitbit to see time…..what they don’t realise is that a watch not only is a timepiece but a stunning accessory as well which makes you look and feel fashionable.
