[Ad-gifted] Change the way you play with slime with this handy kit from Canal Toys. Complete with everything you need for hours of sensory fun. Libby Dallimore reviews for Yeah Lifestyle.
If you’re like me and you’ve tried to limit your children’s slime obsession, I’m betting it’s because at some point you’ve found traces squished into the sofa, carpet or even your child’s hair! We’ve had all three occur so naturally I’m dubious when it comes to slime but this 3 in 1 desk from Canal Toy’s So Slime collection helped me overcome my worries.
My seven year old daughter Margot is big into messy, sensory play and now she’s a little older, she is less inclined to wonder what slime would feel like on her head! Together we had fun mixing, stretching and exploring all the wonderful textures in this fab kit.
What we thought of the So Slime: Mix’ In Sensations 3 in 1 ASMR Desk
The Mix in Sensations kit comes with six different compound slimes in a variety of vibrant colours and textures. There’s a gloopy type, a squidgy one, one that’s sticky and textured, one that’s sandy, one that’s a bit rubbery and a shimmery pot of squelchy slime. There’s a variety of slime to suit all types of slime connoisseurs!
The kit also contains four packets of different decorations to allow you to add texture to each of your slimes. We especially loved the textured bead-like balls and foam square shapes.
Once we’d set up our play station, Margot got to work mixing and squishing different elements together to create unique slime creations. All of the slimes included are non-toxic, boron and glue free meaning the only thing you have to worry about is protecting your carpet! Thankfully the tray part of the case is large and deep enough for play to be contained and when you’re finished, everything can be stored within the desk making it easy to store and also easy to transport.

I have to say, even as a slime sceptic, I was very impressed with this kit. The slimes all felt so satisfying to play with and didn’t leave sticky residue over our hands and they also smelt really nice and not at all chemically. It’s the perfect addition to messy playtime to keep little (and not so little) ones occupied during a rainy afternoon.

It makes a great birthday gift as well
Slime wasn’t really a thing when I was a kid, but I know if I had a kid now they’d be all over it. Because I know my husband would encourage it as he loves anything messy haha x
I personally love slime as much as my kids so I know you would love this as well
