Max Your Money
[Ad-gifted] With the current cost of living crisis, a feature of Max Your Money (Earn It, Grow It, Use It) Book by Larry Hayes and Rachel Provest could not have come at a better time.
Published by Welbeck Kids, the book is aimed at children around the ages of 10 to 14 years-old and acts as a guide to money management aligned with Generation Alpha―that’s the one after Gen Z―priorities.
There’s practical and accessible advice on everything from charitable contributions to cryptocurrency, a great choice for teens, parents and teachers as well.
Broken into three key sections – Earn it, Grow it, and Use it, the book guides young readers through essential concepts relating to money which will help them become more financially astute and confident about money matters as they enter their teens.
Complex information is presented in bite-size chunks and with the use of engaging infographics and illustrations to ensure it is engaging and age appropriate throughout. The book also explores the topic from a moral and philosophical perspective, offering the reader a holistic understanding on how to become a financially responsible person.
So if you are keen for your teen to read this book, then keep on reading to find out how you can win a copy of this book worth £14.99.

What I thought of Max Your Money
I think it is so important to teach the value of money to children from a young age, and this book is the perfect way how teens can learn how they can earn their money to how they can multiply it so they can save or use it. The book is very attractive with lots of pictures and coloured segments to keep children’s attention. Using different sized fonts as well breaking the sections down makes it easy to understand. I’ve actually read the book and really enjoyed finding out so many facts about how the rich make their money to how they spend it. I also do think little pointers such as The dangers of using a credit card teaches children that the plastic card is not a magic money machine.
What my 12- year-old thought of Max Your Money
I think that this book is perfect when teaching people about money, jobs and things about them. This book has a chapter on every topic about money you could ever think of and it is very useful. It has colourful pages and lots of pictures which helps me to understand what they are writing about. It says things like what jobs pay well, what don’t pay well and how to earn money, use it and grow it.
What my 9 year-old thought of Max Your Money
I thought the book was interesting and good for jobs because it told you what the pay check was as well as the positive and negative of each job such as a footballer or even a teacher. The book also tells you if you should aim to get that particular job or not. One negative thing about the book is that it is quite heavy so not really portable.

I would love for my son and daughter to understand the value of money, the importance of it and yet when it is needed to be use. Now most payment is made wirelessly and money is all controlled virtually, it is even harder to use money wisely. You can’t see it and yet it is so easy to spend it. So I hope by winning this book it will help my children on how to manage their money
