Getting Christmas gifts for teens and tweens can be difficult hence our next guide is here to help you get non-gaming themed gifts.

We start by sharing So Bomb DIY Bomb Aroma Factory from Canal Toys which is a great gift for bath bomb loving teens. Next, we feature the GeoSafari® Vega 360 Telescope which is a good STEM-based gift for teens, tweens or even adults.

Arty kids would adore the 3D Sequin Art which will keep them busy for hours on end as well as Craft-Ease’s Paint By Numbers as it helps to get kids off the art app and do actual painting.

Finally, Kikkerland’s Fox and Geese is such a fun and Scandi themed boardgame.   Hope this guide helps inspire you.  Stay tuned as we will be coming up with another guide for teens that will promote all things gaming and electronic.

So Bomb DIY Bomb Aroma Factory

When it comes to teens the question is what to buy? Well, here we have a really great gift that I know for one, my daughter would love to receive. We often go on the search for the perfect smelling bath bomb and I always love ones that smell of fruit or sweets, where as my daughter has a more natural preference of things like mint or lavender. I can’t think of a Christmas where a bath bomb hasn’t made an appearance. This is why Canal Toys So Bomb Factory Aroma would be the perfect gift for her, or any bath bomb loving teen.

Canal Toys So Bomb Factory is a bath bomb making kit aimed at tweens, and teens and allows you to make your own bath bomb creations. The difference with this kit over others, is the fact that you can actually scent the bath bombs yourself as part of the process, adds to the fun and also encourages your teen to think about scent combinations that might either energise, relax, or revitalise. As well as scents you can mould the bath bombs and mix them into varying colours, and finally, you can pop them in the bath when you want your very own ‘at home spa day!

I think this makes for an imaginative, science-based as well as fun craft style Christmas gift, ideal for the teens in your life, whether its a niece or nephew or daughter, son or younger brother or sister.  Canal Toys So Bomb Factory kit is available to buy from Amazon and costs £18.99. Please check the latest price on their website as this may change.

3D Sequin Art – Tiger & Pug

We have featured Sequin Art craft on the blog before and both my kids really loved making it and admiring the bling! Now that they are older, both these 3D Range of Sequin Art is something I know they would love as it gives them a bit more excitement and challenge.

Designed and manufactured in Britain, the Tiger and Pug is created using a polystyrene shaped animal as a base and then coloured sequins to make the 3-Dimensional design realistic.  The gift boxes come with easy to follow instructions for each side of the task, and this would easily take a few hours.  The joy of slowly seeing the 3D design come to reality is quite therapeutic and addictive at the same time.  Once completed the Tiger and Pug is something you can place in the room to admire and I am sure it would also add a sparkle to your life this Christmas!

The 3D Tiger is priced at £10.99 while the 3D Pug is priced at £11.99 and you can purchase it from Sequin Art’s website here.  There are a lot more choices there as well as simpler design for siblings aged 5 and above. There are lots of pins in this packaging so care needs to be taken when purchasing or making this craft.  Recommended for kids aged 8+ or teens, these measure 12cm x 15.5cm x 10cm.

Kikkerland Fox and Geese

Do you want to expand your Scandi horizons and as well as home decor, accessorise your teen with this Scandinavian board game? Well, here in our teen gift guide we have a great game of strategy, called Fox & Geese, that will occupy any family household over Christmas, and makes the perfect gift for a teen that’s seen it all before, and might just need something new to interest them over the festive period!

This game of strategy is a two-player game that, interestingly dates back to medieval times.  It allows you to adapt the rules to suit you (within reason). The aim is to get the geese to win, however, this is where the parts of strategy come in as it’s much easier for the fox to win each time. The game has been compared to draughts/chequers with the strategy of chess. So, will challenge your mind as well as passing the time when your family are visiting and your teen wants something to keep them entertained.

Buying for teenagers is tricky, but hopefully, with a little help from our guide, you might just find the perfect presents! If you think your teen will love this Fox & Geese game, you can get yours from Amazon for £32.55 (always check as, as you know, Amazon prices vary).

Paint By Numbers – Budding Beast

If you have a teen or pre-teen who love arty stuff and spends countless hours painting on an app then this Paint By Numbers from Craft Ease is a fabulous gift to give this Christmas to get them off the app to create a masterpiece.

The best thing about this gift is everything you need to create this acrylic painting is already included inside such as the paint in pot holders, the tool brushes, picture, reference sheet/instruction as well as frame (if you choose the framed kit).

Measuring 4-x40, this is available in two options, one as a rolled kit for £23 or in a framed kit for £46. We have featured the framed kit as it is hassle-free and ready to hang after.  When you support companies like Craft-Ease, you also indirectly support the independent artists who have created the art paintings.

If you love the idea of gifting a teen or adult with a Paint By Number gift then do check out Craft-Ease’s website here as there are lots of choices.   You can also select an art piece based on the artist, our pick, Budding Beast was created by a German-based illustrator, Kai Klimiont.   Alternatively, you can also opt for diamond painting if you love bling.  There are also endless choices on their website for beginners or experts from kids to adults.

Those paint by number kits are so popular with teens! They also take enough time to keep them busy for a decent sized block, which is really good.

I got the bath bomb kit for my tween granddaughter last year and she loved it. She’s doing the sequin art this year and enjoys it very much! I think your ideas are spot-on for this age group.
