[Ad-gifted] If your children are very arty and crafty then keep on reading as you will love these cute, glittery and fun Sequin Art craft kit boxes which we are featuring today. We decided to do this as one of our projects over the recent half-term school holidays and this kept both my children busy.
We received four kits in total, two from the red range for children aged 6-year-olds and two from the blue range for children aged 8-year-olds and above (which adults would love as well).
These sequin crafts are so relaxing and help calm down children and keep them quiet when they are doing it. I found myself getting involved and had to pull myself away from it as it can be quite therapeutic yet addictive.
Each box contains all the items you need to create the image from coloured sequins, pins, an image/guide to work from and a polystyrene frame to mount your sequins on. You then need to use the pins to fix the sequins to the frame, following the guide to create your completed sparkling design.
If you love what you see and would like to win this bundle for your children or yourself then keep on reading as we have teamed up with the good people at Sequin Art to gift one lucky reader the chance to win a Craft Kit Bundle worth over £50.

What did we think of the Sequin Art Craft Kits?
If you, like us, love all things ‘bling’ and glittery then these sparkly arty craft kits is a must-have! The best thing about these kits is that you don’t have to have any specific artistic ability as anyone who has patience and can identify the colours will be able to do it.
There are lots of designs to choose from their website and different levels of difficulty ranging for children aged 5+ to 8+ years old (which are perfect for adults). The kits for younger kids are easier as the image is already printed on the sheet while for older kids, there are dots placed on a black velvet sheet with a separate colour sheet/map provided.
Made in Britain, each kit comes with sequins, instructions and a polystyrene frame. Do take note that when the sequin is placed, the cup needs to be facing upwards. It is just a satisfying feeling to see the image sparkle and come to life as you complete it. Once the image has been completed, it can be later framed and hanged on the wall to add a bit more sparkle to your room.

Here are some positives and negatives from both my children:
Positives:
There are lots of sequin arts to choose from on the website and it does not matter if you pick from the red range or the blue range as the sequin colours will look beautiful and you will end up with an attractive picture in the end. I love that it can be later put in a frame and hung up to look at every day.
I also like how it also has different age group sections because 5-year-olds might struggle to do the kits from the blue range and 8-year-olds might find it too easy if they pick from the red range. The sequin art is also a great gift to give someone as it is very enjoyable and relaxing.
Negatives:
The negatives of the sequin art is that it might hurt your fingers if you continuously do it for a long time and the pins might also leave a mark on your finger so you have to take lots of breaks in between. In addition, the sequin art takes a VERY long time to complete so you need lots of patience to do it.
I also recommend adult supervision if you have a child who is 5-years-old or below as they could eat a pin, swallow a sequin or stab themselves with a pin. Be careful are not to drop the pin as they are tiny and you could step on it and hurt yourself.

Where can you buy these Sequin Art and how much does it cost?
There are lots of options of Sequin Art Design for children from as young as 5+ to 8+ years old which are also perfect for adults who want to destress from a busy day. If you prefer, they also offer other items such as painting by numbers craft, diamond art and scratch art as well. The prices for the two Sequin Art blue range (aged 8+) ie White Cat and Snow Wolf each cost £14.99 while the two Sequin Art from the Red Range (aged 6+) ie Cosmo Cockerel and Poppy Popcorn is priced at £12.99 each.

About Sequin Art
Their story started in 1962 when Stuart Marcus opened small-scale games and toys wholesale and manufacturing business called KitFix Hobbies Limited. The company grew quickly while operating from a single room above a toy shop in East London. At the time, space in London was at a premium hence expansion became a problem. The solution came in 1968 with the acquisition of our present 4-acre site at Swaffham in Norfolk.
During the 1970s they transitioned from mainly importing a wide range of toys to manufacturing them in their on-site factory in Swaffham. In the 1980s they acquired Ingam Day, a long-established board and games manufacturer, and Swallow Plastics and changed their name from KitFix Hobbies to KitFix Swallow Group (K.S.G). Through continued innovation and creative thought, they became a growing force in Britain.
Sequin Art craft was invented in the 1960s by two American ladies who sold the idea to an English company called Impex and then they obtained the Sequin Art brand in 1987 from them. They continued evolving until eventually, Sequin Art became their primary focus. Stuart’s ambition saw the company develop into an accomplished business that exports Sequin Art products worldwide. They produced about 1 million kits in our purpose-built facility in Swaffham every year and are a market leader for these unique craft products. They supply Sequin Art to over 20 different countries, including the USA, Russia, Australasia and most EU countries. Their portfolio has been broadened to include 3D, Diamond Art and Craft Teen ranges.
