Easter Themed Gift Guide Ideas*

If you are looking to send your family and loved ones some delicious Easter themed cupcakes then you are in luck as we are showcasing 9 lovely novelty cupcakes from Send Them Cupcakes.

These cupcakes make ideal gifts as they come packed in a lovely box and contain nine hand finished Easter cupcakes.  The box contains a range or vanilla and chocolate flavour sponge cupcakes which are decorated with delicious thick buttercream icing and Easter themed decorations such as novelty chick, egg and bunnies.

The cupcakes which measure around 6cm are all freshly made daily on the morning of dispatch hence these are recommended to be eaten on the day they arrive but they will keep up to 4 days (as they do not use any preservatives) if stored in an airtight container (not the fridge).

I was surprised to see that the cupcakes arrived intact and they were not damaged during the delivery process.  These make lovely gift boxes as you can add a gift card to the box.

Priced at £26.90, these cupcakes can be ordered directly from Send Them Cupcakes.   Do have a browse on their website as they also make other themed cupcakes such as Coronation, Father’s Day, Christmas. If you are looking for something a bit more healthy, why not try their Dipped Fruit selection.  A lovely treat to send someone to cheer them up no matter the reason. You also have the option to choose the date of your delivery and opt for weekend delivery if you prefer.

As we head into Spring you might be starting to think about the perfect outdoor gifts for your children. We like to get our three outdoors as much as possible and they love any chance to have a water fight and get wet when the weather is warming up.

Soppycid Patent Magnetic Reusable Water Balloons

These Soppy Cid reusable water balloons/bombs aren’t like the usual one-time-only balloons that litter the garden throughout the summer (and hate having to pick them up!) – these water balloons can be used time and time again.

You simply pop open the magnetic clasp and fill the balloon with water and close it back up ready to use.  They aren’t as soft as a regular water balloon but certainly are not far off. They hold water well and open up once they’ve hit their target – which then releases the water. They can be refilled and used over and over again.

These are great fun and much more environmentally friendly than regular water balloons, also much less mess – as I hate having to go around the garden and collect all the balloons for fear that a bird may swallow one!

The pack contains 12 balloons, which is the perfect amount for a few children (and adults) to have a water fight (it meant my three had four each that they could use and refill) – and the fact that they can be refilled, means the fun never ends. You can get yours direct from Amazon and they cost £25.30.

You can also purchase a pack of 4, 6 or 16.  These are a great Spring gift, either as an Easter treat or Spring-time Birthday – especially if you’re struggling for ideas and want a toy that has some eco-conscious qualities.
