However, this isn’t where the story ends and Luna’s world continues to tilt that much more when she discovers some intimate letters exchanged between her mother and a mystery man. Luna has always felt as though a piece of her puzzle is missing and she decides to run towards her problems head on by travelling to Venice in search of her father. Finally, Luna could find the answers she’s been searching for. She always suspected that her mum may be hiding something. Will the truth set her world straight or spin it out of control? Luna is determined to find out either way. Before she knows it, Luna is up to her eyes in books and cats for good measure. This is an endearing read, which will capture your heart.

What I thought of the Book

This is an easy, light-hearted read that has you routing for Luna and her friend Gi-Gi as they navigate their way around the breath-taking ‘City of Water’. Once there, Luna’s search begins in a small but perfectly formed second-hand bookshop, owned by the cantankerous Giancarlo and his charming cats. Luna has to convince Giancarlo to let her into his life, but she is up against some stiff opposition that looks set to spoil her plans. This uplifting and heart-warming tale will fill your heart with joy. You won’t want to put it down!
