[Ad-gifted] I used to be a huge watch fan and collected quite a few pieces in my younger days as I realised from a young age that a watch not only told the time but was a fashion accessory. I had a few different watches and used to swap them around for work, when I went out with the girls and when I went out to parties…practically one for every occasion.

Somehow this stopped when I started purchasing Android phones and later my  FitBit.  In this post, I am sharing a stunning watch from Nordgreen to remind you what is so exquisite about their watches and why you should get one too and wear a dressy watch for parties.  For the feature, I have picked the Nordgreen’s Native range with the Black Dial and Gun Metal strap.

Now what I loved about their Native watches is that it is simple yet elegant, both casual yet dressy.  The Danes are very popular for their balanced and happy way of life practising hygee.  Hence the native range of watches has been designed to showcase balance by brilliantly bringing back the classic look with a clean dial, invisible minute marks and rounded lugs.  I also loved that their watches allow inter-changeable straps so that in the future I can purchase leather straps to change the look of my watch.  I also love that I could customise my watch by being able to choose the colour of the case (silver, rose gold, gunmetal and gold), the colour of the dial (blue, black and white) and the size of the watch head (40mm, 36mm, and the Native Lille 32mm) depending on the size of your wrist.

What did I think of the Nordgreen Watch?

The Nordgreen watch which is featured here is from the Native Range watches for women. I have picked the Black Dial as well as Gun Metal with a 36mm.  What I love most is that I could customise my watch to suit my liking by picking the colour of the dial, the colour/make of the strap. Having a small wrist also meant that more often than not I am unable to wear my watch when I receive it unless I get the strap adjusted at the shops.

This was not the case here as by having the Mesh strap, I could easily adjust the length of the strap with the metal pick which is provided in the box. So walla, I could use the watch as soon as I received it. I also liked that the Nordgreen Native watches gave me 3 watch head sizes which is a huge plus point for me. I often like smaller heads as I find that having a large watch head (which is the current style) only means my wrist looks tiny.

The other thing which surprised me was how easily the strap slid on my wrist and it almost felt like a second skin. Most of the time, watches I have worn feel clunky but not the Nature Nordgreen. It was so light that I did not realise I was wearing it.  This particular watch is valued at £149. The dial also comes in blue and you have a choice of 3 sizes for the watch heads ie 32mm, 36mm and 40mm. They also have a great range of Nordgreen Men’s watches which you can find on their website.
