Jacamo Men’s Summer Fashion Clothes Review
[Ad-gifted] The Jacamo brand started back in 2007 and was originally advertised to suit larger men, however, its intention was to suit men of all sizes, right from Small to 5xL. For our UK readers, you may remember that the cricketer Freddie Flintoff was their initial ambassador and appeared on many of the television advertisements/commercials. The company is owned by N Brown Group PLC which has other brands under its belts such as JD Williams, Simply B, Fig Leaves and many more. Who are all really recognisable online brands and generally brands of quality but within affordable price range.
We were asked to review a selection of items that amounted to the value of £100. So my husband looked through the website for his possible selection. Having never shopped at Jacamo before, he was surprised at the good variety of clothing on offer and also at how reasonably priced everything was. The website was easy to navigate and adding everything to the basic and going back and forth to search was straight forward. Which as most of you may know isn’t always the case with online stores.
My husband’s selection of clothing is as follows:
Here you can see the prices of the items we selected, you will see how reasonable these items are – even though some of the clothes were discounted, such as the two pairs of trousers, the initial price was just £25.00. Most of the garments on sale are the Jacamo brand however, you can also get brands such as SuperDry, Adidas, Levis, Quicksilver and even more in shoes they even stock Clarks and Dr Martins.
This kind of range in one place was really appealing for my husband, who doesn’t often like to go shopping. Being able to do it all online from various places makes it so easy for the lazy shopper, or someone who prefers not to have to search in stores, for items they would like.
What did we think of Jacamo Men’s Summer Fashion Clothes?
In the first photo, you can see the Slim fit, Charcoal Gaberdine Jeans and the block colour top. My husband is 6’1 with broad shoulders and slim body, but he often finds it hard to find a good fit on his waist when they are slim fitting, however, he choose his regular size and the fit was great.
The T-shirt is a large, as he likes a baggier look, this again was perfect. The quality of the garments are also great. The T.shirt is made from medium thickness cotton, and the jeans are nice and thick and have a good stretch (which you need on a slim fit). Finally, the flip flops are Quicksilver, which is already known as a quality brand and they did not disappoint. They are a good fit and comfortable.
The next image is of the Blue Gaberdine Jeans which again are also a great fit, with the pink cotton T-shirt, this is from Jacamo’s basic collection and the price of £6 (at full price) is really surprising and believe it or not the quality is much the same the more expensive block colour T.shirt.
And the last image is the most expensive item which is the Paisley Shirt. The shirt is soft and feels like cotton and man-made fibre mix. It again is an excellent fit, which is so important to know when buying online that sizing is accurate.
My only issue with the items we received is the labelling that recommends you wash the block colour t-shirt jeans, prior to wearing them (due to colour running and it also mentions that the colour may transfer to upholstery).
I would generally expect that garments like this are perhaps checked prior to colour blocking them together, as the t-shirt has white and navy blue and therefore if the blue is to run (which we don’t know yet, as we haven’t washed any of the items), it will be a grey-blue! I am hoping that it is a notice that is informing us in the unlikely event that this was to happen, that at least they have revoked responsibility?
On a whole, we were really impressed with the quality and price that Jacamo has on offer. The £100 voucher enabled my husband to get two pairs of trousers, three tops and one pair of shoes, which could kit you out for your latest summer holiday. To have this variety of clothing for this price is fab, and you could easily swap the jeans for shorts and they have a great selection of leather flip flops and summer shoes, which would be perfect if you’re heading beyond the UK to sunnier climate! Nice looking men’s collection at reasonable prices. I especially like that bold yellow, blue and white shirt, as I can totally see my hubby wearing it.

Quiksilver is one of my favorite brand for my husband. I bought this in Australia and I believe it is available internationally.

I can’t wear sandals with the thing between your toes. It’s just really uncomfortable for me but everyone else in my family wears them. The rest of the clothes look to be a great deal!

Jacamo seems to be a brand with a great variety of styles. I love these shirts and the sandals are perfect for the Florida weather. The prices are affordable too.
