Sudio Niva Black Wireless Earphone Review*

We were recently contacted by Swedish brand Sudio to review one of their earphones from their existing range of headphones and wireless in-ear earphones and we decided to pick the Sudio Niva Wireless Earphone. The Sudio Niva wireless earphones come in three colours, white, pink and black. I chose black as that is one of my favourite colour. The earphones came beautifully packaged in a sleek and stylish portable charging case.  There was also a guarantee certificate (which came in the shape and size of a credit card, a USB cable, extra covering for the earbuds, as well as an owner’s manual.  If you are wondering why the brand calls itself Sudio, it is because the owners have combined two words, Swedish and Audio to create Sudio.  Keep on reading to find out more about these earphones and what I thought about them.

What did I think of it?

I use my earphones for practically everything from my phone when I am driving or when I am listening to music/podcasts or on my tablet as well as I am on the computer when I am catching up on the latest youtube videos and vlogs. One of the main issues I have with my existing earphones is that it always tends to get tangled up. These wireless earphones are super easy to use. They came printed with the letter ‘L’ and ‘R’ for clear indication of which earplug was for the left ear and right ear. The earphones also came in a stylish and compact container which also doubles up as a charging case easily plugged in to any usb charging point. … the best part about it? It only took 10 minutes of charging for about 1 hour of playtime (there is a red light indicated when not fully charged and blue when it is).  Setting it and pairing up with my various devices was also very easy, all I needed to do was to search for any available bluetooth device and it was connected.

Now, both the earbuds automatically sync to each other but the main master earbud is labelled ‘R’, so when you are setting yours up remember to listen using the ‘R’ earbud first.  The earphones feature a single, multipurpose button on each earbud to control music/phone calls (so press once to play/pause/answer or reject calls or twice for next song/switch to the phone.  The earphones itself is very light, only weighing about 5 grams per earbud and the lovely

I loved that I could charge the earphones easily at home and then pack it conveniently into my handbag when I am out and about. The sound from the earphones was clear and crisp and I had an amazing experience listening to my youtube playlist and I was ecstatic that no wires got tangles when I needed to walk around. Answering calls when I was out and about was also convenient as I was handsfree. My only issue was he slight hassle to connect to each device as I usually have my mobile phone, computer, tablet on at the same time (yes I do strangely enough). But once I was connected there was no issues at all.

Note

• Do not use the earphones in ways other than described and remember to adjust the volume to the right level.
• Do not expose the earphones to heat, magnetism, cold, damp environment or abnormal wear and tear ie by bending or tearing them.
• When the earphone is no longer functional, do return it to facilities that cater for electronic waste instead of mixing with normal household waste when disposing of them.
