[Ad-gifted] We love heading to Arighi Bianchi located in Macclesfield, Cheshire and have featured them on our website many times before. Avid readers would remember that we attended a Home Edit Blogger Event sometime last year in October. Where we were given a tour of the place and did a Q&A with both Nick and his dad Paul.
Then again we headed to Cafe Arighi Bianchi to meet up with Chef Geoff to review their Christmas Menu in December. This time we were invited by their PR Agents to check out what are the latest additions in their shop and to show us some new trends this season. As we arrrived, we were given a glass of Procecco and some delicious canapes specially prepared by Chef Geof. There were roughly about 10 of us bloggers / interior designers at the event.

We also had the chance to chat with Nick and Rob about current trends. Rob mentioned that reclaimed furnitures are the in-thing now, he also added that Scandi style layout of clean and simple design with lots of shimmers, glitters and shiny surfaces was trending at the moment.
Looking around, I could easily spot that there was a lot of glitter and shimmer in the store compared to what I remember the last time. Shinny photo frames, new art work as well as table decors stood out beautifully. There were lots of silver, gold and bling this season.

Next we were whisked off by Rob and given a tour of the store. He has recently returned from Milan and was sharing with us what he saw there and his ideas for the store. He also showed us the new furnitures and set/up of the store since we last saw it and told us a little about the store’s future plans.

What we love about Arighi Bianchi, is that its not just a furniture store, but a one-stop shop for interior decor especially if you have just had a new conservatory window put up and would like to decorate the room.
Almost everything in the shop is for sale and yes there are a lot of things which are affordable and on sale and its not just for the rich and famous. Of course synonymous to its excellent furniture sold in the shop, is their after sale service / customer service which the family is so proud of.

Above photos are of the reclaimed table which has been done up for the store, as well as some silver and shiny interior decorative items following the new trend.

Another photo of the new clean look which has a lot of silver / gold tone to it which a lot of young couples or those with apartments look for.

Since we were last at the store, they have also added a new Gift Shop area selling beautiful gift items such as cards, mugs, aroma sticks as well as home decor items.

These beautiful and elegant necklaces which are for sale can also be found in the store.

We finished our tour at The Flower Shop which is a new edition to Arighi Bianchi and met up with owner Bev who chatted with us about her flowers.

She mentioned that she does everything from flowers for the house to wedding bouquet. We could not believe how much flowers she had in her tiny shop.

Once our tour was over, we were handed a beautiful bouquet of flowers, thanks to Bev from The Flower House and a lovely goodie bag from Arighi Bianchi to take home. As we write this blog post, the flowers are sitting on our window sill so elegantly.
A huge thank you to the Bianchi brothers and the PR Team for a lovely evening at Arighi Bianchi.

About Arighi Bianchi
Their story began in 1854 with a journey on foot from the shores of Lake Como in Northern Italy, over the Alps and across central Europe, to the silk town of Macclesfield in the North West of England. A young adventurer, Antonio Arighi, sets up shop making clocks and barometers that he lends out to farmers on sale or return – a canny innovation that proves to be a money-spinner.
His fledging business takes off and soon he is joined by Antonio Bianchi, a master craftsman and cabinetmaker from the same Italian village of Casnate. Together they create Arighi Bianchi, which gains a nationwide reputation (and the patronage of Kings) for producing high quality, handmade furniture upholstered in locally sourced silks and materials. Their landmark store, fashioned on London’s famous Crystal Palace, opens in 1892. To read more about the family, visit their site here.

What a splendid bouquet you were given. Just the kind of colours I love.
Totally Kelly! We loved it as well….so pretty
What a fab place to get lots of ideas. I adore those cream sofas but with my two they wouldn’t stay that way long! It’s the kind of place I’d love to browse without the hubby and kids in tow so I could happily indulge my taste for glittery things without being vetoed!
Oh yes Linda, we are always inspired and full of ideas for the house after a trip back from Arighi Bianchi. You should head there with your girl pals, they serve some good food there too

Yes totally to get fresh and new ideas
I’ve never heard of Arighi Bianchi, but some of these decorations would fit nicely into my monochrome aesthetic! The astronaut figure for example!

I know that was one of our favourite and totally affordable too. We love it, they are based in Macclesfield but will deliver country wide Oliver.
I was just thinking about this the other day… I’ve never been to Macclesfield! Perhaps I should add it to my list!
