Heatwave!
That is what we have been experiencing the last few days and I’ve heard that we will continue to experience this wonderful warm weather until next week, so what a perfect time to be reviewing the Wahu Bash ‘n’ Splash to share with our readers.
I personally love the sun and warm weather, so we tend to spend a lot of time out in the garden when the weather is nice, but my children can get too hot, so keeping cool by drinking plenty of water and by playing water based games in the garden is how they keep cool.
If you’ve never heard of Wahu, they are actually a leading Australian brand selling all sorts outdoor, beach and sports items and are now expanding to the UK.
Setting up the Bash ‘n’ Splash was pretty easy, the instructions were clear and it took us just around 10 minutes to blow it up (the hardest bit was to keep the excited kids calm and away from us until it was blown up).
Read our “Note” below on tips when you are blowing this up. There is also a water connector at the back which connects easily to the hose pipe. We found this a little tricky as our hose pipe would not permanently stay connected and it kept coming off (we are not sure if it was due to our connector being an older model) but kids did not mind and all they wanted to do was keep bashing the Bash ‘n’ Splash and getting wet along the way.
What did we think?
Wahu Bash ‘n’ Splash is such a fun outdoor toy to own, as I find kids can have a run around bashing it and having a splash at the same time.
It was hugely entertaining watching their antics rolling, bashing, kicking, splashing etc as us adults sat back and enjoyed some cake in the warm sunshine. The best part about it is that it always bounced back and stayed upright afterwards, so both my children (and their friends) loved it. We would totally recommend getting one as it would keep children entertained and cool for hours.
Note:
There are two parts to the Wahu Bash ‘n’ Splash, Part A (top part) is to be half filled with air, then part B (bottom part) needs to be filled with water and then you need to go back to the top part to continue to fill with air again. If you fully fill the top part with air, you won’t be able to fill the bottom part with water.
Warning: Not for children under 3 years and this is not a lifesaving device. Only to be used in water in which the child is within their depth / shallow water.

This looks like the perfect outdoor toy for keeping cool in the sun. The kids look like they are really having fun with it and I am sure it will get lots of use over the summer.

This looks like something my boys would love! We’ve had intense heat in SE Texas the last month or so with highs topping out at 110+ so it would be a perfect way for them to cool off since we don’t have a pool (yet).
