November-Gift-Guide-Christmas-Ready-Santa-Sacks

The Vintage Santa Sack

This is such a great idea especially if you have little kids of your own or even for your Godchild or nieces/nephews. Imagine waking up to Christmas morning and seeing a sack filled with presents with our name on it from Santa! I am sure the feeling is fantastic and would certainly impress little ones this Christmas.  The detailed screen printed design on the sack has the look of a vintage Royal Mail postage bag, and wouldn’t look out of place on the set of an adaption of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.  We were sent two sacks for both our kids, to see more of these photos, head to our Facebook Page. The Hessian Sack which is now on discount can be purchased for £10 each, it arrived beautifully folded and with a ribbon on it, once opened the sack measured up to 80cm in length and can fill in a lot of presents. Don’t worry if you don’t have that many presents to fill, just use the same ribbon to tie a bow at the top of the bag. You can order your personalised sack here.

Wilton Countless Celebrations Letter and Number Cake Pan Set

Making our yearly Christmas Cake is a big deal in our household, this is something my mum and I discuss and bake, and it does not matter if we live thousands of miles apart, we tend to bake the same recipe and this somehow connects us. November-Gift-Guide-Christmas-Ready-The-English-Drinks-Company-Gin

The English Drinks Company Gin and Qcumber Soft Drinks

What better way to get in the festive spirit than with a tasty tipple? I sampled a selection of handcrafted and copper-distilled gins from The English Drinks Company. The first to grace my glass was ‘The Orangery’, a gin infused with Valencian oranges. Poured over ice and mixed with tonic, it was delicious. I’m a fan of orange flavours, so this one was always likely to be a winner. Next, I tried the ‘Pink Gin’, a blend of gin with the subtle flavours of pomegranate and cinchona bark. And finally, I tasted the ‘Cucumber Gin’, the most refreshing of the trio. These drinks would all make ideal Christmas presents for the gin enthusiast in your life. Plus, as well as gin, the English Drinks Company produces Qcumber, a blend of natural cucumber and gently sparkling spring water. This versatile drink can be enjoyed on its own or as a mixer with gin, vodka or Pimm’s. And while you may think Qcumber is most suitable for a summer barbecue, it’s also deliciously refreshing when enjoyed at a Christmas party, especially if you’re looking for an alternative to lemonade as a non-alcoholic drink. An English Drinks Company Gin Gift Box, which includes 5cl bottles of Cucumber, Pink and Orangery Gins, is priced £18 and is available here. Meanwhile, 24 x 200ml bottles of Qcumber Mixers are priced £21.60.
