I was recently invited to head to Imani Skin Clinic to speak to Sam Hussain the owner of Imani Skin Care located at Sneyd Street in Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent to chat about her life as well as her new skin care clinic that offers both invasive and non-invasive treatments such as facials, massages, electrolysis, skin peels, botox and more. Sam has had years of experience working with stars and you could see her knowledge and professionalism shinning through when she spoke. She was recently interviewed by Stoke Sentinel newspaper where she shared that she has worked with various celebrities (including Bollywood stars) as well as Coronation Street stars. The best thing about Imani Skin Clinic is that Sam is able to customise and suggest treatments according to what is needed for your skin. So for me, she suggested a simpler facial which was the deep cleanse H2o and Oxygen Aquabliss facial (which is non-invasive) with an Epionce firming mask and a neck and shoulder massage which I will speak about in the review part of it later. If you would like to have some treatments done and live around the Stoke-on-Trent area, do contact Sam to make an appointment as she will make you feel at home straight away and give you plenty of skincare tips as well.
What did I think about it?
The whole process was very relaxing and gentle. Sam is fabulous at calming and relaxing anyone down even if it is your first treatment as she is so chatty and explains what she is doing beforehand. I personally do not prefer invasive treatments so this was just what I needed. She started the treatment with a deep cleanse and then this was followed by the H20 Oxygen (which was Oxygen being blown onto the face), this was a little cold on the face but the process was quick and I wore all my clothes and also had a blanket on so I felt really comfortable. She next applied an Epionce firming mask on and while that was on, she did a neck and shoulder massage. I do lots of massages and would have personally preferred to have my top off for comfort, but nevertheless, I did enjoy the massage. Once the mask was wiped off, a final session of H2O and oxygen was applied before a moisturiser was put on my face. I felt relaxed after the session and my skin was bright and glowing. Even the next day my skin continued to glow and look radiant. If I could change anything about the treatment, I would have preferred the room to have dimmed lights, or candles and relaxing music in the background but that being said, it is a skin clinic so the emphasis on having bright lights is necessary for the treatments. Would I go back to Imani Skin Clinic? Yes, I definitely would. The H2O treatment was fabulous for my dehydrated skin and some of my friends even noticed the difference.
How much did the session cost?
My session was a simplified session which only took about 30 minutes (for both the facial and massage). Normally the oxygen facial would last for half an hour and this will be followed by another half hour of fullback and shoulder massage which will cost £75 but currently on offer at £50.
What products are used in Imani Skin Clinic?
Sam uses Epoince products in her clinic as she understands that with consumers being more knowledgeable about using organic products, she has to ensure that the products she offers her clients are of the highest quality.
