We love slime! Yes the whole family does, there is something about the gooeyness and stickiness of the slime and the ability for us to mess about with it which makes it feel so therapeutic. We have not tried making slime from scratch yet as we love Glam Goo, in fact this is the second time we have reviewed Glam Goo’s Fashionable Slime for Girls, the last time we featured their Glam Goo Confetti Pack on National Slime Day. This time around we were sent the Glam Goo Deluxe Pack just in time for the start of our long summer school holidays. Keep on reading to see what this deluxe pack is all about.
We were sent a package with a clear slime in a tub, a choice of three types of slime glitter and sprinkles decorations (Cloud Crunch, Daydreams and Unicorn Tears), a mixing spoon, two shades of colours (Pink Promise and Electric Blue), a mini Lilac scent bottle, a purse in the shape of a perfume bottle with compartments to insert the slime in as well as a ring.
The aim of the activity is to mix the clear slime with all the provided accessories and then insert it into the compartment in the purse. You can then take each slime out to customize your ring according to the outfit that you are wearing. What did we think of it?
Madeline, my daughter totally loved playing with this, to be honest, so did her Thomas, my 6-year-old son (you can see him in the youtube video) and I enjoyed it too. The slime starts off being awfully sticky when you get it out of the tub, but after work it and kneading it (like you would bread) and roll it into a ball before you add the glitters, scent or colour. It is a great way to spend the afternoon if the weather is too hot to head outside. The purse and ring was a great accessory and my daughter wore it out everywhere she went. My only advice would be to watch the strap as the purse can be heavy and if the bag is worn for a long period of time, the strap does leave some marks on the shoulder. Also we wished there were more colours included to match with her other clothes as only pink and blue colour was provided.

The slime looks like a lot of fun. I like all the bits that are included in the kit to personalize the slime.

She certainly did, the best part about it, you can remove the slime from the ring and then change it to another slime from the purse, so versatile
