[Ad-gifted] The Squish Squish DIY Squishy Factory from Canal Toys is a dream toy for children who love getting creative and are obsessed with squishy toys. My five-year-old daughter included! Rather than simply collecting squishies, this kit allows children to make their very own colourful creations from scratch. The factory contains everything needed to mix, mould and decorate up to four unique squishies, making it part craft activity and part sensory toy.
The set includes the squishy factory machine, moulds, coloured gels, glitter, decorative accessories and storage bags for the finished squishies. Children simply mix their chosen colours and decorations, fill the moulds, wait for them to set and then enjoy squeezing their handmade creations.
The kit is aimed at children aged six plus, but with a little adult help during the setup, Jemma was able to enjoy most of the process independently.

What we thought of the Squish Squish DIY Squishy Factory
Jemma was incredibly excited to try this kit because she loves both arts and crafts and squishy toys. The fact that she could actually make her own squishies rather than just play with them immediately appealed to her.
Her favourite part was choosing the colours and deciding which glitter and decorations to add. She spent ages carefully planning each design and loved watching the different colours swirl together inside the moulds. The creative element of the kit is fantastic because no two squishies end up looking exactly the same.

The factory itself is straightforward to use and helps keep everything relatively neat and organised. I was expecting a much messier experience than we actually had, which was a pleasant surprise. Most of the mess stays contained within the mixing and moulding process, making it a manageable craft activity to do at home.
The hardest part for Jemma was waiting for the squishies to set. She kept asking if they were ready yet and regularly checked on their progress. They need one hour to set, but from our experience leaving them a little longer is better. However, this anticipation made the big reveal even more exciting when it was finally time to remove them from the moulds.

The finished squishies are soft, colourful and satisfyingly squishy. Jemma was so proud of the fact that she had made them herself and immediately wanted to show all of her friends. Rather than feeling like just another toy, the squishies felt like little creations she had worked hard to make.
I particularly liked that the kit combines creativity, sensory play and a sense of achievement. Overall, we were both very impressed with the Squish Squish DIY Squishy Factory. It kept Jemma entertained for a long time and the finished squishies have continued to be played with long after the crafting was finished.

This is so so cool. I love to get my nephews any DIY kit, more so if it’s something they’re fascinated with, like squishy lol…this is awesome.
It is such an awesome toy and activity for kids to go and to keep busy for a few hours
That is the cutest! It’s so perfect for promoting creativity in the kids. I won’t lie… I kind of would like it for myself a little. LOL.
It is indeed and it makes a wonderful gift idea as well
I would have said this would have been really messy – would put me off buying one. But you said it wasn’t that bad, so it makes it a great toy!
No it was not messy at all, just make sure you have a good clean table to start with so you can see all the items clearly
Squish Squish DIY Squishy Factory sounds like an awesome kit for young kids in my opinion. Thank you so much for recommending such a useful product.
You are so welcome Haridas
These types of fidgets are so popular! I like the sound of getting to build your own.
Absolutely, being creative is such a fun thing to do and it takes kids away from gadgets too
My grandkids would have a ball with this Squish Squish DIY Squishy Factory , those things are so popular and to build your own has to be such a cool experience.
So glad to hear that Lisa, it is such a fun gift to gift little ones too
Choosing the colours and glitter would definitely be my very favourite part too. These seem so popular with kids now, I wonder if they still will be in a few years when my daughter starts to get older x
My daughter would absolutely go crazy for a kit like this since she is completely obsessed with those tiny sensory toys lately.
