Tia Maria Hot Chocolate

You can use any hot chocolate and warm milk, but I have made it more indulgent by using Caotina, which is a Swiss hot chocolate and made the drink using my Haier I-Master Home Barista Machine. You can also finish the drink with whipped cream and marshmallows or something simple like cocoa or grated chocolates.
Ingredients:
40ml Tia Maria
Hot chocolate (2 tsp/25g hot chocolate, topped up with warm milk )
Whipped cream, marshmallows or grated dark chocolate for decoration (Optional)
Method:
Pour Tia Maria into a mug or heatproof glass, top with hot chocolate and finish with whipped cream or grated chocolate. Perfect as an indulgent breakfast in bed drink or for sipping by candlelight as you watch a movie. The Tia Maria was not over powering at all, so perfect for non-coffee lovers too.
Classic Tia Royale
Again another easy cocktail to make for coffee lovers if you want something quick and easy. Just make sure your glass as well as your Prosecco/Champagne has been chilled for a few hours.
Ingredients:
20ml Tia Maria coffee liqueur
Top up with chilled Prosecco or Champagne
Instructions:
Pour the Tia Maria into a champagne flute or whatever glass you have at home.
Top up with chilled Prosecco or Champagne.
Stir gently and serve.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever had Tia Maria before! I really like the idea of it in a hot chocolate though! I’d love to try that. Sounds like the perfect thing to cosy up with on an evening!
