If you are a fan of James Taylor or Carole King, you would not want to miss this hit performance which is coming to Stafford Gatehouse Theatre in April for one night only.

Off the back of the massive success of ‘The Simon & Garfunkel Story’, Maple Tree Entertainment Ltd are proud to present a new concert-style show based on the friendship and musical relationship of Carole King & James Taylor entitled ‘You’ve Got A Friend’.  Be transported to the 70s as you watch the show enfold in a beautiful set which has been set in the living room and aptly decorated. Audiences will be presented with hits after hits all performed life by extraordinary musicians.

The show will be a celebration of both their friendship, their songs as well as their the dynamics of their relationship with one and another.  Featuring heart-warming and classic tunes such as ‘I Feel The Earth Move’, ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’, ‘How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)’, ‘Fire & Rain’, ‘You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman), ‘Sweet Baby James’, and the beautiful ‘You’ve Got A Friend’, it will be a night to remember.  Scroll down below to find out how you can win yourself a pair of tickets to watch this show!

Where is Stafford Gatehouse Theatre?

Stafford Gatehouse is an old Victorian theatre for professional and amateur shows, including Shakespeare and children’s plays. In 2007, the Borough Hall was reopened as Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, by his Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester. The Borough Hall was originally opened on 20 June 1877 and the building once housed Stafford Borough Council.

Where to park?

Stafford Gatehouse Theatre is in the heart of Stafford, just seconds from the main shopping centre and central tourist attractions. It is less than 10 minutes drive from Junctions 13 and 14 of the M6 and can be found by following the theatre mask symbols on routes into the town centre. There are ample parking facilities a short walk away from the theatre and cycle racks are available outside the building.

I can remember listening to James Taylor and Carole King when I was young – my mum loved their music and still does! I’m sure that she would really like this show!
