[Ad-gifted] Having previously played with and loved the Airbrush Plush Magic Unicorn craft set from Canal Toys, we were thrilled to be able to check out their latest creation.
In this house, we love anything that combines imaginative play with arts and crafts so we were really looking forward to trying this out. Libby Dallimore reviews.
What we thought of the Airbrush Plush Hair’iffic Squish Pals
Canal Toys are masters at taking creative toys to the next level. They know that kids love letting their imaginations run wild – whether that’s through arts and crafts or role play – and they have really cracked the code when it comes to combining the two. My daughter Margot, aged eight-years-old, loves design and she loves playing hairdressers – she also loves a plush toy so this adorable kit is the perfect combination of all her favourite things.
There are two cute plush pals to choose from in the range – Princess and Precious, and they come with everything you need to give them a fun personalised makeover.
The set includes:
1 Adorable plush pal
1 Airbrush tool
3 Chalk markers
30 Stick on stencils
1 Instruction manual
There are also a range of cute hair styling accessories including 4 mini hair bands, 2 hair clips, 1 comb and a hair beading tool with beads. There is so much included, it really does feel like there are no limits to what you can design or create. The toy is also machine washable which means play really can repeat again and again!
What we liked about the Airbrush Plush Hair’iffic Squish Pals
We loved the range of accessories and additions the plushy comes with as you can go wild with your designs. There’s some small hairbands, clips and a little comb. The airbrush tool was really easy to use too and because the stencils stick on, they are much easier to transfer. We did still get a few smudgy fingertips but apart from that, it’s relatively mess free play – every parents dream!
What we didn’t like about the Airbrush Plush Hair’iffic Squish Pals
Unfortunately, the bead tool was very flimsy and it difficult to pull the beads through the hair. After two uses the end snapped off and it broke which was disappointing as other than this all the items are great quality.
