Happy Easter Everyone! Hope you are all having a fabulous Easter bank holiday weekend and either heading for a lovely weekend away or spending time with family and loved ones. This month, our gift guide is themed towards Easter and Spring gift ideas… as always we always tend to showcase different gift ideas with a low and high price range to fit the different spending capacity of our readers. This month we feature David Charles’s luxury dress for those wanting a little bit of luxury this Easter, Kinder’s Easter egg range, Hobbycraft’s White Twig Tree for the creative at heart, The Goblin’s Blue Blanket for those looking to gift a child a non-chocolate based gift for Easter and Guylian’s Flame Egg. Do check out our other blog posts to find out what we have been up to this Easter as we also share other themed activities such as the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and Breakfast at Dobbies amongst others.

Kinder’s Easter Range
Kinder eggs, we all love them, from the adults to the little ones. There is a favourite egg for each one of us. We were sent Kinder’s latest Easter egg range to share with our readers. Some of the selection sent to us included the Kinder Surprise Eggs, Kinder Suprise Minion (which is made from their signature milky chocolate but this time filled with giant Minion toys to make the fun last longer), Kinder Surprise Powerpuff Girls Eggs (a definite must-have for fans of Powerpuff girls), Kinder Chocolate Mini, Kinder Chocolate Mini Fluffy Toy (which comes with Kinder Mini Chocolates) and Kinder Surprise Figures. What we love most about Kinder eggs is that not only is the chocolate delicious but it also includes a toy which our kids love. I find my kids will happily do chores in the house for a kinder egg (yes a form of bribery) and soon as they get their Kinder egg, they are happy to spend hours playing with the toy. Prices for these Kinder Easter Eggs range from £0.99 to £15, and they are available at all major retail stores.

David Charles’ Gold Ballerina Bridesmaid Gown
Perfect for springtime and the Easter holidays, this David Charles’ Gold Bridesmaid Gown is the epitome of luxury and adds a little bit of glam into your little girl’s springtime look. The gold and ivory dress is perfect to be worn for a wedding, prom party, Holy Communion/Confirmation Mass or a casual Easter Spring party. The material which includes an embossed brocade motif looks stunning and did not look clunky at all. One of the main problems I have with my ‘ballerina’ daughter is that she is so slim and tall, hence it is hard to find the perfect dress for her. This dress (size 9) is perfect for her although she is just 8+. It comes with a polished a-line silhouette and fitted bodice and is perfect to be worn when twilling around. Little features like the ruffle neckline, concealed zip, bodice trim and underskirt are the needed touch to make you feel like a little princess. This luxury girls designer dress can be purchased from their website for £349.

Decorative White Twig Tree
We were sent this stunning white twig tree from Hobbycraft to feature on our blog. This lovely inspirational tree with its wooden base and rubber branches is 76cm tall can be used as the perfect centrepiece to display almost anything at all from jewellery, Christmas decorations, flowers, family photographs or even origami and is perfect to be placed in the home all year around. We have decided to decorate this tree with Easter eggs and Easter decorations to be placed in the living room. This is such a great and crafty gift to give someone who loves to be creative. The rubber branches can be easily bent into the perfect position which suits the item you are showcasing. The white twig tree also looks sophisticated to be placed in your living room, the conservatory or the children’s bedroom. Feel free to repaint the tree if you feel like it. This versatile tree costs £19 and you can purchase one for yourself here.

Guylian’s Flame Egg
Well, what can I say, its a whole chocolate egg filled with delicious and creamy chocolates!! Mmm…This is a great Easter Gift for a lover of Guylian Belgian Chocolates, as the egg features an indulgent gold foil encased egg which is filled with the famous individually wrapped praline Guylian Seahorse, which is just as yummy as the seashells themselves. If you aren’t familiar with Guylian but love chocolates you need to try this, the egg is lovely and creamy, and the chocolate is marbled with a beautiful hazelnut praline inside. They simply melt in the mouth! If you want a treat or treat someone special at Easter this lovely egg is for you. They are available from various supermarkets and online, the price ranges from £7 to £14, you can purchase this from Tesco here.

Kieron Black’s The Goblin’s Blue Blanket
As parents ourselves, we often find that we tend to accumulate a ton of Easter eggs over the Easter period, and if your kids are anything like ours, they tend to eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner due to the huge overload of it. Hence we are sharing with you a non-chocolate based gift to gift a child. This book is such a delight to read even for adults as not only is the story interesting but the images illustrated by Kieron is just so captivating. The font and colours used in the book is fun and mesmerising. My kids read this book and even brought it along with them when we went away on our glamping getaway one weekend. They loved the book as it had a happy ending. If you would like to purchase this book for £6.99, head to Vertebrate Publishing’s website here.
