Gold Rose

Imagine receiving this amazing Gold Rose that doesn’t wane,  wither and lasts forever, therefore, it surely is an unforgettable keepsake, don’t you think?  Cool Gifts share this finest of the finest rose which is hand-picked and these are carefully dipped in 24k gold, preserving its natural beauty in a frozen state for you to enjoy.   The rose certainly does turn heads and would make the perfect gift for your loved one this Valentine’s day.  I totally loved received the stunning rose which was beautifully presented in a stylish red box (it comes in a black box too).  It made me feel very special, the rose was so delicate yet sturdy enough to be placed in a vase or in its box. Measuring around 28 to 30cm in length, the rose came wrapped in soft satin and also comes with a certificate of authenticity. Imagine receiving this special rose which will last forever and does not require any water at all.  A golden opportunity for all the romantic souls out there! A perfect gift, priced at 59.95, you can purchase your very own gold rose here.

Olverum Body Oil

This Valentine’s Day why not get your other half a little bit of luxury in a bottle where they can be pampered from the comfort of their own home.  The spray oil is best applied after a shower or bath for a calming, therapeutic and moisturising effect. The rich and nourishing oil contains a blend of over 30 essential and cold-pressed botanical oils including the potent antioxidant raspberry seed oil, which is rich in Omegas 3, 6 and 9. Alaria esculenta extract is known to boost the production of Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid to preserve the skin’s elasticity.  I decided to try it once I had my shower in the morning. I tried it over several days – I found that the oil was really lightly fragranced which surprised me considering it contains over 30 essential oils. I tried it once when I had towel dried my body and once when I hadn’t. It worked best applied onto towel dried skin. The oil is silky and made my skin soft, but not greasy. It was lovely. I think you would need to apply it for a long period to notice a true change on particularly dry skin, but as a day to day moisturiser, it really is great. The Olverum Body Oil is priced at £40 and comes in a lovely box, you can purchase it here.

Heidi Swapp White Lightbulb

So what do you get the arty and crafty one in your life? Something they could play with and make it their own of course! Here’s introducing you the stylish Heidi Swapp White Lightbulb which will light up any room and your heart with personalisable decoration.  The lightbox can be easily powered with the USB cable that is included, meaning you can connect it with any USB outlet or batteries. It will add a special touch to your bedroom if you plan to surprise your loved one with the lightbox. These Heidi Swapp lightboxes are designed to be customisable, so you will be able to apply your personal style. For inspiration and decorations, check out the rest of the Heidi Swap Lightbox range on Hobbycraft’s website.  I totally loved it, the only thing I have to say is that I ordered the lightbox thinking the letters and backgrounds will be included but they are not, so looks like I have to reorder these online.  The best thing about it is that it is a blank white canvas, and you can add any words to it and images so you can use it for any special occasion or events.  The box is about 13 x 10 inches and only contains the letters ‘Lightbox’ and USB cable (batteries not included).  Priced at £35, the Heidi Swapp White Lightbulb is only available online and not in Hobbycraft stores.

Aqua Manda Retro Perfume

What a perfume!  This Retro Fragrance really takes you back to the scents that you would imagine in the 60’s & 70’s! If you know a certain someone that likes a to look and smell like a throwback Abba or loves listening to the Mamas & Papas, this perfume would be perfect for them.  This perfume might not be for everyone as it is fairly strong in scent, but I felt that it did have a softness to it from the aroma of sandalwood. The citrus isn’t as juicy as I’d expected it would be and I had imagined a more tropical holiday scent, whereas I feel that this has a heavier scented aspect to it; more on the level of Poison by Christian Dior (although it doesn’t smell the same as this classic perfume). It has a real velvety fragrance that is really long lasting. The other thing that is really interesting about this perfume is the fact that during the 1960’s it was one of the most popular scents but all of a sudden the company ceased trading. So that fact that it has been re-made in the exact way as back then makes it a truly unique and authentic scent from the era!  The original creator of Aqua Manda fragrance, Christopher Collins and the original oil suppliers have acted as advisors on the relaunch of this iconic perfume. Making the fragrance as close as possible to the original. This perfume can be the perfect gift for your other half if she is into all things Retro. Retailing at £39.99 per 100ml, you can purchase the perfume bottle here.

I love body oils because the scent ends up lasting like forever and your skin is moisturized. It’s like benefit after benefit when applying to skin.

yeahlifestyle February 1, 2019 - 9:17 pm

Absolutely, the body oil keeps the skin so moisturised

I’ve always loved those gold roses! When I was in high school, I’d always dry out the roses I would receive but they aren’t nearly as pretty as this one!

I love the smell or dried rose, I also used to do the same when I was younger as it lasts longer
