What I thought of the book
I personally love self-help and motivational books as I enjoy reading positive uplifting stories especially if I had a long and tiring day. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed reading The Simplest Gift. The book has just under 100 stories, and each short story is shared in a chapter. Sometimes, I just want a quick read before bedtime so I was thrilled when I realised that each chapter in this book only comprised of a couple of pages.
The book showcases a charming collection of stories with a big lesson which touches on various subject such as being humane, compassionate and offers holistic guidance for the body, mind, and soul. The book also stands as a portal to unlock the secret of how to find success, purpose and be happy every day with the little things that happens in life.
The stories are very relatable and well written, that I sat with my children each night and read a chapter to them. I found that large quotes in each chapter made the story in the chapter stand out and the sharing of Greek culture interesting. It is no wonder that this book is an International Bestseller!
In a nutshell, the book is the perfect read to remind you to be grateful of the little things in life. I would highly recommend getting a copy of this book.

I am always looking for a good book to add to my collection. I often don’t take the time to read them but this one seems like it would keep my interest.
