Founded by English-based, Paris-trained perfumer, James Bronnley, the company has been proudly innovating since 1884 and their pioneering technique has lead to their products being sort after by other companies such as Fortnum & Mason, Harrods as well as Macys in the USA.   Although James died in 1938, the Bronnley brand did not – he left behind a thriving business for his daughter, Gladys and her husband, Hans Rossiter to manage and carry on and their business still thrives today as they are the masters of innovators.

Bronnley Rose Triple Milled Soap

Bronnley’s Rose Triple Milled Soap was my favourite of the three, costing £14 for 3 bars, this may seem a little extravagant to some… but let me remind you that these soap bars are enriched with Almond Oil and Shea Butter for a rich moisturising and nourishing experience.

I was taught to eat a few rose petals daily from a young age as I was told that rose petals are antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-parasitic and their scent can be so captivating at the same time.

I found that the Bronnley soaps are long-lasting and provides a richer lather compared to normal soap.  The delicate rose fragrant also reminded me of a time when I walked through a rose-filled garden.  If self-care is high on your agenda then washing with this soap will definitely by an indulging experience for you.   This sophisticated square-shaped bar is perfect for most soap dishes, you get 3 soap bar weighing around 100g each in a beautiful gift box. Lemon & Neroli – Soap Collection 

Opening the Lemon & Neroli Soap Box, my room was immediately filled with a fresh citrusy and lemony smell, which was a great pick-me-up scent.  The addition of shea butter in the soap bars not only helps to clean my hands but also moisturise it at the same time.  The realistic lemon-shaped soap bar was almost mistaken for a real lemon by my children.

The three bars are individually packaged in soft paper and then beautifully presented in a gift box.   This eye-catching lemon & neroli zesty soap is vibrant and immediately lifted my mood and put a smile on my face. I am guessing this is due to the top notes of sparkling Sicilian lemon, mandarin and neroli which are all-natural ingredients.

These are the perfect looking soap bar and will be the talk of the party if and when you have friends around your home.  Priced at  £15, there are three stunning lemon-shaped soaps included into each box and these can be purchased here. Do note that one of the main difference between a normal soap bar and Bronnley soap bar is that Bronnley’s soap bars are made from superior quality and their bars lasts a lot longer.

Lime & Bergamot – Soap Collection

I am very familiar with the scent of lime but not bergamot, hence this citrus and floral smell combination was the most unique to me, again with the soap being shaped like a real lime just makes it that much more stunning to look at.  Did you know that lime has been used for generations in skincare as it is known to rejuvenate skin and promote healthier-looking skin?

Bergamont, on the other hand, has a unique scent and is what gives Earl Grey tea its distinctive scent.  This stunning gift set comes with three lime shaped soap which is also enriched with shea butter to help moisturise your skin.

My hands felt fresh soon as I washed them and the piquant top notes of bright lime, bergamot and grapefruit just sent me to a distant happy place.  Priced at £15, again the price can be considered hefty but do remember that these soap bars last for a very long time. Bronnley Rose Eau De Toilette 

I have always loved Eau De Parfum for its stronger scents, but more recently I am loving the softness and lightness of Eau De Toilettes and you probably know that rose is one of my favourite scents.  I love the Bronnley Rose fragrance as its extraordinarily fresh and made me feel like it the perfect spring day although it was gloomy and wet outside.

The Bronnley Rose EDT is crafted with over 130 years of expertise and the finest ingredients.  I found the scent to be long-lasting from morning to evening and the smell still lingered at the end of the day.  Eau De Toilette comes with a perfume spray and it is recommended for you to spray these on the pulse points or as an all over body spritz.

The 50ml bottle is the perfect size to fit in my bag for day trips and the bottle shape is perfect to hold as well (this is important factor for me). You don’t need much, I just sprayed it once and that was enough as I rubbed both my wrists together.  Although an EDT, the rose and geranium scent was still strong and I felt relaxed almost immediately as if I was walking through in rose-filled garden. The 50ml bottle is priced at £16.

What did I think of the soap bars and the fragrance?

I am in love! Totally in love with the magic that the Bronnley brand offers, moreover, I love supporting local British brands and proud to say that Bronnley has been around since 1884.  I am fond of companies that use natural ingredients in its beauty products and the use of minimal or less plastic packaging and this could be seen in Bronnley’s products.

I love the strong yet delicate scents used in their soaps and how long the rose scent lasted.  These soap bars also look stunning and will be such a crowd-pleaser when my friends come over.   Rose, Lemon and Lime and my three most favourite fragrant and these have been so wonderfully showcased in the Bronnley Bundle send to us.  Would I recommend this to friend or purchase it again?  I certainly would as it is a stunning gift to give and to receive for family and friends.
