Reusable Drinking Bottles – Hapi Bottles

The bottle comes in three different, convenient sizes: 350ml, 400ml and 500ml and you can order a range of bright colours. (Always useful if you have siblings fighting over which bottle is theirs!).

The 350ml is perfect if you want to pack a hot or cold drink for one person. My preference is a coffee that I can enjoy while we are out and about, but it’s great for taking a hot chocolate or other favourite drink for those with a sweet tooth! Very useful when you need to encourage (bribe) your littlies to walk that extra bit further along the coastal path!

What did we think of the Reusable Drinking Bottles?

I’ve found with some other bottles that the taste of the drink can be tainted by the material. This isn’t the case with these bottles and the fact that they are BPA free, adds to their appeal. While the 500ml bottle fits in a good amount of liquid to share, the lightweight, slim design of the flasks mean that it’s not adding a lot of extra weight to your load. Useful if you need to carry everything but the kitchen sink on your adventures as we seem to do!

The packaging that the bottles arrive in is a great design and all recyclable. Hapi aims to be as efficient and as ecological with their designs as possible. As a teacher, I’ve had some bottles for my drinks over the years and the Hapi bottles are one of the best designs I’ve tried. They don’t leak and the flip lid makes them so easy to use that the whole family can use them with ease. We found the flip lid design one of the most endearing features. Sometimes, the last thing you need when someone is desperate for a drink and you’re trying to stop a child from wandering off into the sea or a dog from chasing some birds, is to try and unscrew the lid of a flask that then usually gets tipped over as you hand out another sandwich. This design features means that if someone wants a drink, they can pick up the bottle, push the button and away they go!

Hot or cold: you can decide! As the bottles have double-wall vacuum insulation, you can add your favourite hot or cold drink and the bottle will keep it hot for up to 12 hours and cold for 24 hours, which is great if you’re out for the day or travelling far from home. We found that even after a full day out, our coffee was still hot. Our drinks have not yet lasted long enough to test whether it remains hot for the full 12 hours, but it seems to still be going strong after 8 hours.

The other thing that I love about this product is how easy it is to clean. You don’t have to take off what feels like a million rubber seals and scrub all of the individual parts that get stained with your favourite drink. The spout just unclips and you can wash it all in warm soapy water. (Just don’t put it in the dishwasher). So far, these bottles have travelled with us on boat trips, walks, wild lakes adventures, beach days and long-distance journeys in the car. The bottle is a great product that’s easy for everyone to use. I would definitely recommend them. I rarely leave the house without mine!
