Review: Nordgreen Copenhagen - The Infinity Watch

Time is a strange concept at the moment as we enter into another short lockdown here in the UK, but that being said we have one thing to look forward to during this time, which is Christmas prep! I think I might just love the preparation as much as I love the day itself. So when you’re awake at midnight searching for gifts online, check out our latest review of a beautiful watch from Nordgreen.  We are also offering our readers a special Black Friday discount of up to 35% OFF all their products when you use code YEAH35 (available from 21 November until midnight of 1 December 2020 after which the discount code will only give you 15% OFF).

Nordgreen is a Danish brand that although we have reviewed one of their items before, they are still fairly new to me. I love wearing some of the best watches but don’t often wear them as I am pretty heavy-handed, but often when I want to smarten up I miss not having the watch on my wrist! So in our second review, we have opted for a slightly different look to last time, read on to find out more…

Review: Nordgreen Copenhagen - The Infinity Watch

What I thought of the Nordgreen’s Infinity Watch

The Nordgreen watch I chose, was one from the Infinity Range. This has a slightly smaller face than some of the other styles available, which suits my thin wrists. With this watch, the straps clip into the watch face but look as they are infinitely flowing through the watch. I love this sleek design and the way that the watch face bowls in from the outside to the centre of where the hands move. It has a crisp look that is chic, but at the same time has a classic and unfussy look.

Nordgreen watches are designed by their in-house Chief designer, Jakob Wagner, who has previously designed for several known high-end furniture brands. I particularly like the thought process that has gone into designing the whole range of Nordgreen watches. Much of their inspiration and thought is on Danish culture and much more time is spent on the thought prior to the design actually takes place. As well as functionally Wagner has ensured that there is the versatility with the important addition of accessories, which feature in all the strap combinations you can create.

Wagner has ensured this variety has come through in differences in Nordgreen ranges. The women’s section includes The Philosopher and The Native, both of which are available in the men’s range too. The Infinity range, is only available in the women’s section, however, the men’s have The Pioneer range. There are quite a few variants in the designs, some of which are obvious like the watch face colour, which can range from black to white, and the curve of the face. Some are higher at the sides which gives a slightly more unique look than the ones that are totally flat. Another obvious difference is the way in which the straps attach to the watch face – some like the infinity doesn’t have noticeable clasps whereas on the Native has a bigger gap between the watch face and the strap, which again gives a contrasting look.

In addition to the differences in watch designs, you can also buy the watches with assorted straps. I think this is a fabulous feature that Nordgreen have incorporated into their brand. You can purchase bundles that come with either two or three different straps, so you may choose the mesh strap in each of the colours available, and then one or two other straps. I particularly like the fabric strap in Olive, or the grey leather, both of which really change the overall look and style of the watch taking them from chic to casual just with a change of strap. This is why these would make a perfect Christmas Gift, as you can get someone get them one watch that will actually end up being two watches with the added strap! I love it, it is just such a great trait and makes them so much more unique.

This type of variety means that there are plenty of features to choose from to make sure you can get the watch that suits you. Be sure to check out their website when you go to buy your watch as very often they have offers on that give you all sorts of discounts on additional straps, and on the bundles, etc. But you won’t need to check out all the discounts as a Yeah Lifestyle reader if you remember to use our specially created discount code – which you will find further down in our blog.

He also has a fixed collection at MoMa in New York City. His products are being sold globally every minute of every day. These achievements speak for themselves, making him a household name within the international design community. An art that many designers struggle with, separating the good from the great.

That really is a gorgeous watch! I do love chunky watches but am super fussy over specifics… odd, I’ve not actually worn a watch in ages! I need to get a battery in my current watch but no chance of that at the moment!

Such a lovely watch. It looks really lovely with that jacket you’re wearing. If only I could have a watch for every outfit! I probably own too many clothes for that! Lol

Beautiful watch! I like watches that are more simple as opposed to when I was younger loved all the bling of a watch. Reminds me I need a battery in my watch ASAP or I could just buy a new one lol.

I really like the idea that you can change the strap easily. I currently have a mesh strap but I do like to change it every few weeks.
