We love Chinese Tea, in fact, the whole family does…we tend to order Chinese Tea in a pot whenever we head to Chinese Restaurants so reviewing Capacitea‘s Kung Fu Master Collection which came with a selection of Dark-Rose Waltz, Oriole Yellow and Jasmine Snowflakes loose tea leave bags came almost as a second nature to us. The items came delivered in a box all intact and well preserved. The gift set consisted of a teapot, a serving cup, four drinking cups a bamboo tea tray as well as 3 selection of loose tea leave bags and some sample tea packets. This is a sophisticated gift to give your loved ones, especially during Christmas. Its practical, very useful, stunning and any foodie or tea lover out there will definitely appreciate. Do read on to learn more about this gift set and see more photos of it.
Here’s a photo of the three loose teas which were sent with the gift set, from the left Dark-Rose Waltz, Oriole Yellow and Jasmine Snowflakes. You dont need much loose tea, depending on how many people you are making it for and how strong you want the tea to taste. We used about a teaspoon for the full pot and keep refilling the pot with hot water and the flavour was there for a few refills. The tea bags also can be resealed easily so perfect for easy storage.

How did the Tea Taste Like?
What did we think of the Gift Set
This is really such an amazing gift set to present to someone who appreciates fine life, good tea and friendship! When we reviewed this gift set, we did it over a period of a few weeks where we invited friends over, cooked some noodles and served the tea after, as well as at home with family. Drinking Chinese tea is a way of life, it is about family and friends and about good health as well. This gift set is very delicate and the teacups and teapot is very fragile, so please handle with absolute care. I love this giftset and I know many of you readers would love to have this in your home as well. It is such a great idea as well, especially when the tea is being served on the bamboo tea tray which is a centrepiece by itself. The bamboo tray is easy to clean, damp proof and very smooth as well.
How much does the Master Collection Cost?
The Master Collection costs £62 and you can purchase the Gift Set from Capacitea’s website here. The loose teas can be purchased separately as well, they roughly cost £6.50 for 50g or £17.50 for 150g. So you are able to try different varieties or repurchase the same tea of your choice.
