[Ad-gifted] If your little one loves copying the grown-ups at coffee time, the De’Longhi Barista Coffee Machine Toy from Casdon is a brilliant addition to any pretend play setup. Designed to look just like a real De’Longhi La Specialista Arte Coffee Machine, this interactive toy gives children the chance to become their own mini barista while encouraging imaginative roleplay and creativity. With realistic sounds, moving parts and a stylish modern design, it instantly feels more premium than many traditional kitchen toys on the market.
The set comes packed with accessories, including cups, pods and milk cartons, allowing children to recreate café-style drinks for family and friends. Despite the detailed design, the toy remains lightweight, durable and easy for small hands to use independently.
Aimed at children aged three and over, I tested this out with my four-year-old son Kitt, who spent the day fully immersed in roleplay as chief coffee maker for the family.
What we thought of De’Longhi Barista Coffee Machine Toy?
Kitt absolutely loved this coffee machine and immediately got stuck into making us all pretend coffees on repeat. We actually have a similar coffee machine at home, so he was especially excited to take over and make the coffees instead of me for a change. It made the play feel familiar and meaningful to him.

It’s very intuitive to use, and he quickly worked out how to switch between the pods and use the portafilter, which made him feel like he was using a “real” machine. The design is a big highlight, it genuinely looks like a mini version of a proper coffee machine, which really adds to the roleplay element.
Kitt enjoyed choosing between “americano” and “cappuccino” and carefully serving them up in the little cups. The milk jug was also a lovely touch and added another layer to his pretend play.

It’s a great size for little hands, sturdy enough to handle enthusiastic play, and simple enough that he didn’t need constant help. As a parent, I appreciated that it encourages imaginative play without screens or noise overload, although you do need to add 2 x AAA batteries for the features to work.
We ended up being served coffees all day long, and it kept him entertained for extended periods. It’s also been great for roleplay scenarios like café games, morning routines and even playing shops.
If I had one small downside, it would be that the accessories are quite minimal, an extra cup or a few more pods might have added even more variety to play. That said, it didn’t stop Kitt enjoying it at all.
Overall, it’s a lovely roleplay toy that feels a bit more special than standard kitchen toys thanks to its realistic design. It’s ideal for any child who enjoys copying everyday routines and getting stuck into imaginative play.

What a fantastic toy for children to pretend they work in a cafe! It’s a shame that there aren’t enough accessories and extras that come with the barista toy, but I bet it’s a lot of fun!
Yes it was still fun and it could have done with the extra bits
That is soooo cool, I love it. My nephew enjoys watching me prepare espressos and loves it. He will love the toy. Awesome idea.
So glad to hear that Karen
Oh my days! My daughter would have loved this when she was younger… now she enjoys making me one from our real machine – Deep down, I think she just likes playing baristas!
Oh yes kids do love playing baristas and serving coffees especially if you do like visiting big coffee chains
Aww. The cutest barista ever! This is such an adorable toy. Kitchen playsets of all kinds have certainly come a long way since I was a kid.
It is such a lovely toy and it also makes coffee making sounds too
